Draft in Progress - Breaking Monday Night VERY, VERY IMPORTANT TO READ: Draft Rules: (By joining this break, you agree to these rules  )Because there are 265 spots, we need to implement a few rules to move the draft along. 1. I will provide a spreadsheet (2011 Chrome Rank.zip) with every pick on it. I strongly encourage you to provide a list and allow me to pick for you. By using this spreadsheet for your list, I can create a database and make quick work of the auto picks. 2. The draft clock will run from noon to midnight every day starting 24 hours after the draft (to allow b/s/t). 3. You get 45 minutes from the time the previous pick was made. If you miss your clock (and have not sent a list), your next clock is 15 minutes. If you miss the 15 minute clock, you are on automatic auto-pick until you check-in. We have all been held captive by guys who are awol - so this will help with that. 4. Common courtesy is extremely important in these drafts - especially this one. PM the next person in line (or ask someone to PM for you if you cannot). Subscribe to the thread and stay updated! If you are nearing your 45 minute deadline and are still picking, just post a comment - "Hey, I am here and picking now." I promise I am not an ogre trying to auto-pick you Sean Rodriguez when you really wanted Jay Sborz. 5. Have fun! Cornerstore recently got a Superfractor of his PC player with one of the last picks in Dachman's draft. Anything can happen! So, here are the paypal rules: 1. We dropped BDPP out of this break - it was going to take too long to fill and I have a Finest break in a few weeks. To answer a few questions very quickly: This is mostly a player draft. With each spot, you can pick any card from 2011 Topps Chrome. I will be providing checklists and a default ranked list. Any player that has both an autographed card and a non-autographed card, those are 2 different picks (auto or non-auto - NOT BOTH). The Marquee case hits will be RANDOMED amongst all spots. You have an 22.6% chance of getting a Marquee hit for every spot you have. If you have 5 spots, the odds say you should also get 1 Marquee hit, but it is NOT guaranteed. The Marquee hits are BONUSES and should be viewed as such. If you sell or trade your spot, you ALSO lose that spot's chance at a Marquee hit. For every 5 spots you buy, you may choose to get 1 guaranteed marquee hit. Those 5 spots are then removed from the Marquee random - thus raising the chances for everyone else slightly. Trades do not count. Also, if you are trading, you must keep at least these 5 spots to be fair. I already got the price quote straight from Chris. (the marquee case was a pre-order). 2011 Topps Chrome: 265 spots 170 Veterans 50 Rookies 29 autos 5 USA autos/set redemptions (1 per case) 5 heritage inserts (1 per case - maybe 48 cards each) 5 vintage chrome inserts (1 per case - maybe 36 cards each) 1 60th Anniversary autos - all 5 cases (small chance) $20.79 base slot price $2.50 shipping + $1.00 supplies + $0.20 to cover Marquee shipping/supplies = $24.49 $24.49 + pp fees = $25.51 (call it an even $25.50) $25.50 for first pick, $23.50 each additional pick. If you hit a card worth $250 or more, I will ask you to pay for upgraded shipping - priority mail, signature confirmation, and insurance. 2. If you join this break, you must be willing to pay quickly. We want to order right away - it takes 3 days after payment for the cases to arrive. 3. If you join this break, you must subscribe to this thread. It makes life SO MUCH EASIER. 4. Because this is a club break, the host DOES have a spot. How would you decide what Marquee hits go to the main random and which ones go to the automatic hits (people that by 10 or more and decide to take some)

Fifth, I will have the list of Marquee hits randomed twice. This list will be matched with the list of names and whatever spot you have in both lists is your prize. You can buy/sell/trade spots to get more spots in the marquee random, but they cannot be used for the guarantee. You cannot break up your player draft and the marquee random - this is a big enough logistical nightmare as it is - however, after the marquee random, you can sell your marquee hits separately from the player draft. |

Just so anyone joining now knows, we are discussing (through pm to avoid cluttering the thread) the idea of dropping BDPP and just going with Topps Chrome and the bonus Marquee.
I owe BO for the Marquee case now and I do not have the $2k handy because I just bought a new business. As it stands, this break will take another week to fill and could even stall completely. If we cut out BDPP, your odds of a marquee hit double and the guarantee drops to any 5 spots (instead of 10). The price raises slightly ($25) because the cost of the Marquee case is spread out over 269 spots instead of 532. We have 235 spots filled now - I know I would lose at least 6 spots (so far) if we dropped BDPP, but I would also gain spots from the Marquee & Topps Chrome crowd. I hate changing a break, but sometimes you need to adjust. A lot of people voted for BDPP, but they just aren't buying the spots. This is not decided yet - just being discussed. As it stands we are less than half full... if we cut BDPP, we are over 87% full and have less than 40 spots remaining. They will go quick. Quote:
