People don't like change.

Also, I'm not one of the big group breakers yet. Still building a reputation and trust with members on this board. Houdini is currently the premiere group breaker and his breaks fill up almost instantly.

I would have thought we could fill up pretty fast. If I could participate, I'd buy 3 slots myself. But that's against the rules.

Yeah, it just sucks right now because besides Houdini's current TC break there is not a lot of baseball out there. I primarily collect baseball so just wanting more. Will have to rely on Houdini and pack wars for now.

As a host how many slots can you have?

As a host, I can't have ANY slots. It's part of BO's rules. I think houdini can participate in his breaks because he has worked something out with BO and has a "club". I'm not that serious to create a club, but I do want to participate in my own breaks. But it causes issues when the host is a participant in the breaks.

There must have been issues in the past that create this rule.

Yeah I could see where it could become a problem with people that host. There should be a way or process though that could allow for it though especially with all the effort it takes. Might as well mark me down for my second spot now then might get closer to breaking.

Pakman, post in the break we just did - lots of those guys loved our 5 case break.

We hit 9 extra autos plus another 2 usa redemptions that were not autos.

Suggestions:

1. Make 2 extra heritage slots - 1 per case. Mixed in the team slots they add no real value - however, by themselves as a slot they are worth $80 to $100 each slot - about 60+ cards each. The vintage chrome lots are crap, but you could make them slots too - they will be worth about $10 - $12 each lot - but in the team slots add little value.

2. Do #1 above.

Since you added these lots, would you make the total slots 56 instead of 54? Making a small change in price. Maybe too much work but saves a little money.

Suggestion: take out vintage lots because they suck in general. Just add players to team lots. This would make a total of 55 slots. Heritage lots are a excellent idea by houdini but just don't see the value with vintage lots.

Yes...thanks for pointing that out. I tried to update the thread at work, but I got pulled away on a project and didn't finish. Also, the price has come down since I originally posted, so overall, the "per slot" price should drop a little. I will get this updated asap.

I do have some bad news to add and I realize this will make some of you drop out. My work and my personal life has been hectic during the month of September. Even if we were to fill this break up, I'm not sure I will have time to do the break that quickly. I'm thinking earliest would be the first week of Oct. Everything is up in the air at the moment, but I just wanted to put that out there so you guys have a chance to back out if you want. I'm still having trouble finding time to mail out the cards from my last break of Marquee. I wish a lot of these products fell in August because I had so much more time on my hands. Doing these breaks can be like a full time job. Although it brings me great joy to do this for you all, it's time consuming and STRESSFUL because I really aim to please and don't want to disappoint.

So just throwing that out there. I won't be hurt if you back out. Thanks all.
