Draft Breakdown:

THIS IS A HIT SNAKE DRAFT. There are 48 TOTAL slots. The draft will pick in order from #1 to #48. We will go back down the draft order from #48 down to #1. Keep in mind that #48 gets back to back picks. Also keep in mind, the top of the draft has the potential to land and extra hit if we end up with more than 96 HITS. So #1 in the draft will also get #96 AND #97...and so on until we are out of draft picks.

Some other things to note:

All non-auto parallels (EXCLUDING 1 of 1s) will be included in the team lots. Team lots will also include rookie base. This will add value to the team slots, making them more desirable than some of the autographs.

There are 4 types of inserts. The lots are broken down into even card numbered and odd card numbered for each type of insert. That means there are 8 possible lots. These lots include the non-auto parallels (EXCLUDING 1 of 1s).

Rules/Disclaimers:
1) In the event we pull a high value card, I will require that you pay for upgraded shipping (priority mail, insurance and possibly signature confirmation).

2) I would like to receive payment 48 hours (2 Days) after going active. The faster I get paid, the faster I can get the cases and do the break. If you do not pay in time, your slots will be giving to members on reserve.

3) Once the break is paid in full, slots will be randomized 3 times by the MOD to determine the draft order.

4) If we are shorted a HIT, I will contact Topps to request a replacement. If cards are damaged, you have the option of sending the card in yourself or having me send the card in for you. Unfortunately, I can't control what Topps will do, so if they do not send back a suitable replacement, I will not be held responsible.

5) This break will be held live and recorded on one of the web blog sites (UStream, BlogTV, etc). Information will be provided ahead of the break. The draft will be held on the forums.

6) And just to make sure this is clear. A HIT is an autograph, 1 of 1, Team Lot or Insert Lot (Even/Odd).

7) This is the first Club break. You do not have to be a club member to participate, but club members get first priority in participating. Also, because it is a club, the host is allowed to participate in the break. If you are not comfortable with this, please do not sign up. Draft Details:
1) Slot trading begins once slots are all paid for. Trades must be announced on this thread and confirmed by all involved members.

2) All Hits will be posted after the break. I will only be scanning Autos, Redemptions and high numbered Parallels. I'll try to get the scans up the same night.

3) Trading will cease 1 hour before the Draft begins. I will allow trading after the draft, but only for 1 day.

4) If you do not provide me a list for the draft and do not draft in the allotted amount of time, your pick will default to the draft list that I create. I will provide a default draft list at least 1 day prior to the draft.

5) Draft clock will be set to 20 minutes per pick. The draft will start at 8PM Eastern on whichever date we pick and last until 1AM.

My only objection to a player draft would be the time it's going to take me to run the draft and sort the cards.

I'd be willing to do the sorting, but I would need someone to volunteer to run the draft.

If I can get a volunteer and enough interest, I'd be willing to change this to a player draft.

It's hit or miss. Topps is on a roll with all of their football products so far. Inception, Platinum, etc. And based on the sell sheet, the inserts look AWESOME. I heard somewhere that 75% of the autos are on-card. Not sure where that person got that information, but if true, that's going to be awesome.

The only thing that sucks, there's only one guaranteed auto per box. I'm hoping there are extra hits. Also, it helps that a lot of this years rookies are playing well. Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Andy Dalton, AJ Green, Ryan Kerrigan, Julio Jones.

I think the problem is you are competing with a two case team draft in the active section. Also there is a 4 case player draft in the testing waters. IMO those types of drafts are more appealing for a product like this.

I think the problem is you are competing with a two case team draft in the active section. Also there is a 4 case player draft in the testing waters. IMO those types of drafts are more appealing for a product like this.

I have a feeling that player draft will not fill. Not trying to be negative, but 220 slots is alot to fill. Do people really want 10 Rex Grossman Chrome cards?

I'm open to a team break, but are people willing to pay $50+ for a slot? If so, I'm open to changing this to a team break instead.

I have a feeling case prices are going to shoot up after release. This year's rookies are going bonkers. Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, Demarco Murray, Ryan Kerrigan...the list goes on. Some of these guys will have on-card autos on CHROME!!!

Anyway, I know people say they aren't interested in the style of break I'm doing and that might be the reason why we can't fill this puppy up. I think that's really unfortunate. I have two camps. Those that think what I've designed is cool and creative...and those that would rather do it the old way. I'm just trying to be less mainstream and more progressive. But hey, I'm also down with old school. If we don't fill this break up soon, I may have to close this break and submit a more traditional break instead, because I'm really eager to bust some TC Football...big time!
