I agree too - "the buy-in" value with the current rollover isn't insignificant. It's fairly close to a full month of dues anyway.

Yes, either that or charge a $45 buy in so it would cost a new member $95 including the $5 supply fee for their first break. I think that's about how much each of us have invested in the rollover money. I am fine with either option.

With the sale of the codes our rollover is up to $1007

If we would allow new members, they would need to buy in.. How the buy in would be would have to agreed to. One thought I have would be:

$1007/23 = $44 buy in + $5 supplies fee.

Thus whatever our current rollover is/number of active users would be the buy in amount. This way they are invested as much as we are in the roll over. Then add the $5 supply fee.

Another option would be to also include a "buy in premium" since they may just jump in and out when we are getting ready for bigger breaks. Same calculation, but also include a premium..

I agree with the buy-in but I would take the D-back's request in at minimal cost or no buy-in. just how many cards will a D-back owner get overall until Draft.. also the request was right before our decision to add a buy-in...BUT ONLY THE D-BACK's OWNER

Sounds like we are shutting it down for new members as of now. Once the bankroll dips a bit we can always open it up. I did PM the guy looking at the D-backs a few days ago, but have not heard back.

High end cases could be anything, 2012 Tribute/2012 Museum Collection/2011 Marquee, TTT from previous years. Or any other ideas. Will have to see what happens with prices and product after release.

Did we put in a preorder deposite for 2012 Bowman? Not that I think we shoul have but I'd hate to see jumbo cases break the $1000 mark when we want to bust it. If the price starts trending that way, I think we should reconsider our options that month for a previous year Bowman product maybe?

I had talked to Mike about putting a deposit in on the Bowman after the last vote was completed, unsure if he did though.

Not too likely, but maybe. Topps already started their "OH MY GOODNESS, WE'RE SOLD OUT AT THE FACTORY" strategy. We might have to wait until after release to get a decent price. If it goes too high and stays high, we might have to consider skipping it, depends on what everyone else thinks. We could consider a hobby case, but it will have alot less hits. The names this year don't seem to support the current price IMO.
