Mike just informed me that I am the new owner of the Reds. I am from Wisc. and am a big time Brewer fan in BB and this 2will surprise a few I am a Big Time Bear fan in football. It will be great to get to know all you fine people in the next few months. mikw also let me now of possible changes to the club and asked for my opinion I am all for not breaking low end product. I am in favor of increasing the monthly dues so we can break higher end product monthly. If the club decides to stay at the current dues and skip a month here and there I will go along with that decision. Also would like to make one suggestion. Once a year it would be great to hold a random draft so the lower end teams have a chance to get a team like the Yanks/Braves/Red Sox/Dodgers. again it is nice to meet you all.

Just getting home and saw the pm. Honestly I'm not wanting to go any higher. I like the break, but right now the base is saving my bacon. I did ok on Heritage with limited hits (2 relics?, but did get a Fielder SP) but have been able to use the base from the other breaks as well. The Tigers will hopefully get better with the addition of Prince Fielder stuff, but I dont expect them to be overly produced. Not everyones goal is profit but for me its where my interest lies. Cobb obviously for me would be a grand slam, but not expected.

Sounds like the majority want to keep it at $45 and just skip a month here or there if needed to try and add a few extra higher end breaks. But there will be less "set collector" type products.

I will throw a poll up describing the remainder of the year and see what kind of agreement we can come to. Some have posted, but not enough to make it a majority. Then we can get started on collecting for July etc. PM's will be sent to all.

If bowman platinum is an option, maybe someone in the club who is going to the National can break it at the booth and we can get some of those Bowman Platinum blue packs

Sorry about the delay.

These are the options I will post for the poll.

#1
July 2012 Tier One $1075
Aug Skip (but pay the monthly dues)
Sept 2012 TTT $1650
Oct 2012 Five Star $1400
Nov Skip (but pay monthly dues)
Dec 2012 Bowman Sterling around $1800
---------------------------------------
$5924

#2
July 2012 Bowman Platinum $1014
Aug Skip
Sept 2012 TTT $1650
Oct 2012 Bowman Chrome $760
Nov 2012 Bowman Draft $740 (or could add a little to get a jumbo case)
Dec 2012 Bowman Sterling $1800
--------------------------------
$5964

#3
July 2012 Tier One $1075
Aug 2012 Finest $745
Sept 2012 TTT $1650
Oct 2012 Bowman Chrome $760
Nov Skip
Dec 2012 Bowman Sterling $1800
-------------------------------
$6028

#4
July 2012 Tier One $1075
Aug Skip
Sept 2012 TTT $1650
Oct 2012 Bowman Chrome $760
Nov 2012 Bowman Draft $740 (or could add a little to get a jumbo case)
Dec 2012 Bowman Sterling $1800
--------------------------------
$6025

This is all with pricing now (which could change, but without any price cuts we receive)and dependent on the same # of members @ $45/month through the last 6 months. PP fees are figured in, but shipping is not (the assumption is that the auction will pay for shipping). I can adjust the options if needed, just need to keep the pricing about the same. If we can vote here it would be great, but if I need to put a poll up, I will do so.

Let's also plan on doing a full case of TTT (1/2 for the group and 1/2 for those interested in ponying up a few extra dollars.)

I vote option #4. I am willing to add additional funds for a master case of 2012 TTT.

Option 2 with no additional funds. Would have liked to see Topps Chrome in there somewhere.

11 votes so far with

#1 (1)
#2 (1)
#4 (9)

We haven't heard from everyone but even if everyone else voted other, #4 would be the winner with the majority. Hopefully Tier One won't have gone up too much. Let's plan on getting payments in around the beginning of July and then we can plan the rest of the year out a little better. I will send out PM's later this week.

I know my vote means squat at this point (#1)... But can I pay extra to not break freaking bowman 3 more times... Really?

If people agree, anything can be changed out, these were just ideas ( not a whole lot of input was given). Although I think people will want Draft and Sterling to stay. It is tough to plan out 6 months ahead, but we need to do so to plan on getting in a couple bigger breaks like people wanted. I would have voted #1 too, but 5 star was always going to be a tough sell due to price and history wit hthe football product.

Now that we have the initial set up in place, we could tweak the lower end cases here and there as long as the price matches or comes real close.

Looking at the options again #3 seemed to have everything and Finest which I would rather bust than a third bowman...but alas, can't go against the Bowman masses so I will just grin and bear it
You are right about 5 star also...I would rather see another 6 box case of museum...
Also I am in for extra funds on TTT...that will be a great break...definitely

Thanks again for getting the options up...this group has been great to break with

2012 Tier One is OOS currently and the price is up $200+ from what it was, but will go ahead and get payments set up for July so we can be ready to go. Once we get past this month we should be able to preorder and have no issues with price fluctuations.

Right now we are at 16 for the full case of 2012 TTT with 6 yet to answer. Would equal out to about $108.00 extra per team with a little added for shiping and paypal fees. Just so everyone is aware. I will post a breakdown once we get closer.
