I will be getting things set up for the last two breaks of the year in the next week or so. If releases hold please be ready as they release within a couple weeks of each other.

Not sure what mgugs thoughts are as far as continuing being the breaker, but should I start planning for 2013? I asked in a previous PM, but only got a few responses. We will need to discuss what direction the club is going in. Do we want to stick with only high end or do we want to mix in some populars like Bowman etc? Do we want to maintain exactly the same teams every break, or possibly thow one random into the mix, or do a hit draft or something just to change it up a little?

I'm in for next year too. I'm all for a mix of keeping our team(s) and also doing random team breaks from time to time.

Count me in for next year also - would like to stay higher end as I'm not a prospecting guy but I usually find a way to collect some of whatever we break. I'm for a few randoms sprinkled throughout the year too, keep it interesting and I'm game for whatever.

I'm in next year.....would like to maybe keep one team and a random...definitely not a fan of the hit drafts but will go with the group on whatever works...would like to stay higher end, but again, no problem going with the majority...thanks ...it has been a great group this year

Cards received - Paid for November - Brewers

I am in for next year with the Reds - I wouldn't mind if we change things up every now and then with a draft and I am ok doing higher end product, but I can't go over $100 per break.

Payment sent for November

In for next year, prefer High-End only. Cool with a draft once in awhile

Depending on how many people we have for next year (I'm in) - I do like the idea of 1/2 of the teams being preselected (our pc teams) and the other team being a random.

I wouldnt be opposed to saying doing a break every other month if that kept us at cases, but also dont mind say a full case and then mixing in misc. boxes.

I prefer a mix of products (low/mid/high end). Allows for a mix of prospects and current players, as well a current stars/vet's and HOFers.

Hope you don't mind me jumping your back on these two ideas, but really like both of them

Pm sent to all regarding Nov/Dec.

It looks like for the most part members are wanting to do high end breaks. I will try to get a scenario together for 2013, but there will be a lot of variables. If all the members with two teams would drop one team, we would be at 15 and could do the scenario of 1 claimed team and one random team each break. Cost will go up significantly with this and a few of the products release very close to each other as of right now. For example Tribute is at $2800 presale (release 03/06), so with 15 members we would be at about $190 for that break. Museum Collection (release 03/20) would be around $160. If all members keep their current teams, price would go down and I could go searching for new members again, this way auction teams bring in a decent chunk of change as well. I would think there would be about 6-7 new products (Tribute, Museum, Tier One, TTT, Sterling, 5 star etc) that we could do during the year, but could also do some older product.

I would propose that once or twice during the year we do a random team draft. Once we figure out what and how many breaks we are going to do, we could just random the breaks and the top break would be our draft break. Or something like that.

So biggest question is what price is too much for everyone per break? If we make monthly payments like we have done it takes the sting out a little bit, but I'm not sure Mike wants to be holding that type of money in his paypal for 2-3 months between breaks. I think the easiest way would be just to pay for the break the month we would be doing it, but that may stretch people a little thin.

Thoughts?????????

I am going to drop the Twins as well. Was hoping Buxton would be in draft or Sterling, but it doesn't appear he will be.
