OK, I am new to this rookie retro series. how does it work? it says shipping will be a different charge if you hit something?

How many cards are there per box? how many hits per box? i see there are 23 slots but does each slot get something? am i paying for a guaranteed hit per slot?

There is no up front shipping cost. Only pay shipping if you hit a card and want it sent to you. 2 cards per box. 2 hits per box. High risk not every slot will get something. Most will not get anything, no guaranteed hit per slot.

Make sense?

Yes. BVG is just "vintage". You can grade it "BVG" if it is before 1980, I think. There is a ernie banks graded BVG 3 that pulled out of Rookie retro on a box break on here I believe.

so only 2 out of 23 people per box will get something. You just made 23 slots to make the price low, is this right.

Yup exactly! If it were to be in a format where everyone would be guaranteed something, I'd be over $100 a slot and at that point you might as well buy your own box of this stuff.
