My only idea for a 10 caser would be breaking it up a bit would be not doing the vets by player and breaking it down by case like this

10 Cases of Base Vet Slots
10 Cases of Refractor Vet Slots
10 Cases of XFractor Vet Slots
10 Cases of Green Vet Slots
10 Cases of Orange Vet Slots
10 Cases of Gold Vet Slots
10 Cases of Red Vet Slots
10 Cases of Die Cut Mosaic Vet Slots
10 Cases of Purple Vet Slots
10 Cases of Super/Canary/Plate Slots

40 Rookie Base Slots
32 Rookie Autos

10 Cases of Finest Moments
10 Cases Foundations
10 Cases Freshmen
10 Cases Finest Moments Auto Relics
10 Cases High Risk Patch/60th Autos

222 Slots / roughly $6000

~27.25 + fees and shipping so around $32/30 a slot depending on pricing. Some slots would come up empty, but does anybody really need a stack of Kevin Youkilis Base Cards? Base Slots would have value for those looking to build sets, Refractor/Xfractor/Green/Orange and Gold should get cards while the other slots will be high risk, but high reward.

If we kept as is, slot prices would be closer to $40 and more of a pain in the ass to sort/ship. The above setup would be relatively simple on the sorting end.

That would be interesting

Base on that 10 case idea, it would not be a draft then, right?

It would be... Rookies would still be draftable as they have been. So for example

Pick #1 could still be - Eric Hosmer Auto
Pick # 2 could still be - Mike Trout Auto
Pick #10 could still be - Mike Trout Base etc.

or You could draft
Case #1 Superfractors/Canaries/Printing Plates - and that would be similar to the high risk slots.

Houdini ran a break similar for 10 cases of Bowman Chrome. http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/a...yer-draft.html Obviously Finest has WAYYY more parallels per case than Bowman Chrome does and not as many player cards, so we would have to be a little more creative. But this would probably be the only way to keep the cost down if everyone was interested in 10 cases. 10 cases of the current setup would be about 8 dollars higher per slot.

but having a case of just vets wont help make the set you still would need the 30 rcs that are part of the base

Great idea and very creative breakdown. I would definitely be down for a few spots in this.

Just curious...if we were to pull, say, the Mike Trout Superfractor Auto from Case #7, would it go to:

A) The Mike Trout Auto slot

B) The Case #7 Super/Canary slot

C) JohnAndrew's personal pile

It seems like option B would probably be the fairest, but I wouldn't be against the uber-potential of option A. There is nothing wrong with option C, either, IMHO.

lol, no Mike Trout Auto Slot gets all autos. Case #7 Super/Canary would only be for Vet Base Cards. If it were a Mike Trout Non Auto Superfractor, that would go to whoever had the Mike Trout Base Slot. The Rookies will still be draftable. If you draft Mike Trout Non-Auto Slot, you would still get any and All Mike Trout non auto cards. This format eliminates the drafting of all the Veteran players. All players with a RC logo are still draftable. Honestly, I don't think anybody is joining this thing to draft Adam Dunn or Paul Konerko slots.

Cards are safe in NJ. Thank you for the extra cards for the class. It looks like a lot of new Cleveland Indians fans in the making. They love the chromes I guess the same way collectors prefer them. itrader left for break and itrader for cards for class. Thanks Dane, and I am in for next next break send me a PM.
