I can't believe the trouble people go through to call other people out, only to retreat 60 posts in, basically admitting they were wrong. In case you're wondering, my breaks are set with zero profit built in, and in fact, Ive lost money on each of the 5 I've hosted so far. I volunteer to host breaks that you guys pay for, and I get to joke around and share in the excitement of what will ultimately be yours.

Sorry for the rant. Houdini was under a microscope in the Baseball section for the way he "profits" from his breaks, and took it like a champ. Thanks for joining, and looking forward to breaking these bad boys open!

Gosh...I can't believe people were making a fuss about that...as a very active group break participant, I sincerely hope that everyone appreciates what the hosts do for us. No host should have to operate at a loss either...the knuckleheads over there were insinuating that any "profit" is taking advantage of "blind" participants. The more I think about it, I actually feel guilty that the hosts usually make so little doing these or in your case, Matt, have to pitch in with their own dough.

That said, I know Matt does this for us, the collectors, and I don't want to overlook that. So THANK YOU sir for being such a champ! And it's been a pleasure to hang with the rest of you folks so far...we should definitely do it again at some point

Thank you to you both. This will definitely not be my last, as I enjoy it way too much. I haven't gotten a tracking number yet for our order, so I emailed Danny. I really hope it goes out the door today, or our break won't happen Friday. I'll keep you guys updated as to the whereabouts of our goods.

Sure - maybe some folks host these things and try and skim/make profit - but most people (including Matt) do a real nice honest job. And to know that he or anyone else has to toss in their own extra $ and run the break at a net loss for themselves is lesson enough that people should really watch what they say before talking without knowing all the facts.

I'm relatively new to group breaks, but from what I can tell Matt is a really hard working and honest host. This has been smooth as a baby's bottom so far and I expect nothing less the rest of the way out...and I look forward to getting into another that he hosts down the road.

Ive stated this before, I pretty much only join breaks done by a few hosts. Tajikey (Matt), Imnotded (Justin) and Houdini. Odd times if I see Dlab, Jzlinck or mofojoe break ill get in. Matt, Justin and Houdini are a barrel of laughs while busting. Even my wife gets a kick out out of them while she reads her book before bed and Im sitting there joking away on my laptop. I couldnt buy that down time entertainment even if I wanted to.

Coming from a guy that has virtually no access to wax/busting let alone other local collectors to converse or chat amongst, breaks done by these guys and those who join like TrueNE, JohnAndrew, Hobbiewitt, WilsonValdez amongst others. Its fun times, trading, chatting and excitement of rooting for a card from your slot!!

To be honest, if there was no group case breaks done by quality individuals, Id probably lose interest quickly. Its a social aspect for me.
