Default 2012 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hit Draft

Thinking of hosting one of these bad boys if there's enough interest. We can do it one of two ways:

Hit draft, with 126 total slots.

72 Hit Slots (4 per box)
36 Base Parallel Slots (2 per box)
18 Base Slots (1 per box)

At current case prices, that'd put the initial slot at $30.50, and each additional at $29.

Or

Random team, with 30 slots. It'd be around $120 for the first slot, $118 for additional.

Or

You can offer suggestions.

Either way, I wanna host a full master case of this, so please appease me by offering suggestions or say you'd join!

Dont forget without pricing breakdowns - breaks will be delayed in approving.

Break is now open. Format and slot pricing are within the guidelines and the host has provided verification for the age requirement. Please do your own due diligence and only join if you are comfortable with dealing with the host.

Hit draft with WAY fewer base/parallels... Would love to do a hit draft but damn, I only care about actual hits and having that many base slots would kill it for me. Don't mind paying more for consolidated slots, maybe 1 every 4 boxes or something with base.

I would be interested in the team random, but you might have more luck if you break it up instead of 1 slot for the whole master case, maybe do a set of team slots for each mini-case.

A hit draft only would be $53 for the initial slot, $51 for additional. I'm down to do it either way...

Yeah, no team break for me... Too easy to get shut out on cards in these types of products (see: 75% of the people in the Tier 1 breaks). Hit breaks promise something from the product, even if crappy, to someone.

My problem with hit drafts is you end up getting no chance at anything good. in drafts you basically get $2 card for a $55 slot once you are out of the top 5 ranking. Atleast with a team lot, you get a lot of players that could possibly hit.

I dont know, but team slot is 1:30 chance or so vs hit draft is more like a 1:80 chance. The price is double. Math makes better sense on teams for me personally

Really? It costs more for shipping and supplies when you dont get any hit in the draft within in the top 5. What good is a $2 card guarentee going to do for you when you pay $55 for the slot? Would you rather pay $100 for a chance at a whole team of players?

I dont chase the player. I chase the big hit. Thats the point of case breaks. It give you better odds at hitting case hits.

I'd likely be in for either. You can put me down now if you do a 30-slot team draft.

Surprised to see the script flip. I'd rather do a team random, as it takes much less time to ship the cards out. I'd also just do the same team for each participant over the 18-box case, instead of randoming by 6-box case.

I saw one case of this stuff wield nothing but Angels and Braves on the good stuff, leaving every other team with nothing or a very small spattering of the Hector Noesies of the world. Each box was Pujols, Trout, Trumbo, Trumbo, Heyward, Heyward, Uggla, Aaron, Uggla, Delgado, Haren... "And all the hits in this box also go to so-and-so..." No thanks.

If team, count me out. Zero interest in teams after doing a few. Might I recommend a team break for you guys AND a hit break for us? Interest will pick up around release I think.

I'd prefer a hit draft with far fewer base slots but team random would be fine too. I'd be in either way.

Agree with OJ on this one if your not in the top few in a hit draft than you basically have nothing to look forward to during the break but that just the way I look at it

I''l take a slot for a team random, for a hit draft I think it should be with less base/paralel spots

I think hit draft should have less spots, team draft @ 100+ I'll pass, rather get my own boxes @ that point than walk away empty handed potentially.

I'd be in for a couple hit break. You could do random hit instead of draft and make each box's base and parallel be one slot.

Box 1:
slot 1: hit
slot 2: hit
slot 3: hit
slot 4: hit
slot 5: base and parallels

Box 2:...
and so on.

Kind of like Marino's Sportkings breaks. Hit drafts for me are getting old.
