I love case break. I hate people who try and make a business of selling spots prior to it going live and then bailing when it doesnt work for them.

Its as bad as people who opt in then dont pay once they see their slots

What I didn't understand is the fact that everything is a different random per case. So what is the point of selling anything pre-draft? What was I missing there?

Same here. Thats why I called it out. There is no use trying to figure anything out till the random is done. Thereby you can trade and buy/sell the teams you want.

Maybe he was thinking about getting out a certain because he doesnt care for it. But still the $$ dont match so its impossible to trade them for other cases. Whatever the case is, it would be a headache to keep track of.

To each their own, but from the past 8 case breaks ive entered, all ive seen are , im in..no wait im out...no wait anyone want to buy me spot? then.... Sorry I cant pay!!! Just frustrating sometimes

I don't want this to turn into an argument, so hopefully we can respect each other's opinion.

I love case breaks too, but possibly for different reasons. I love buying/selling/trading spots. I get a lot of enjoyment out of the negotiations. As far as it being a business, that is pretty laughable for me. I am probably just really bad at it, but there are only a handful of breaks that I have actually gotten more sell value in cards than what it cost me. For me this is a hobby and the money I spend is just the cost of the entertainment. I have worked with alot of people to get their PC teams for breaks and I enjoy that as well. As far as I can remember, this is the first break I have ever backed out of, and I have never not paid for a spot I have opted in for. Personally, I think it is much worse to not pay than to back out, but I can see how someone could view it as just as bad.

As for what's the point in buying spots pre-random, it makes sense in this break because we are breaking different products. So, I would be willing to buy the case spots from people for products they aren't interested in or for products I am interested in that they are willing to sell. Pre-random I would be pricing spots based sorely on the product, and post-random would be considering the value of the team and product. Obviously, in a single product break, there would be nothing to buy/sell pre-random.
