Essentially, the Rangers and Nationals should be the hot ticket items in this product, seeing that Darvish and Harper will both have autos. Next in line could be the Angles (though, Trout isn't a rookie in this product) or Red Sox, depending on what picks 3 and 4 want to do.

Then again, drafter #1 could go outside who I think will go 1 and 2, which wouldn't surprise me one bit. You did pull a GREAT spot at pick 5 in cases 2 and 4. There are plenty of great teams represented in this year's product.

Ok, well I will just have to do more research and have my top 5 ready because i'm going to get at least one of those choices in 2/4. As far as 1/3/5, um i don't know what to think about those slots lol

thanks Tajikey, I really haven't looked into this product at all. I just know I like Finest . At least I have some sort of idea with what I should do with that top pick in 1, 3, and 5 .

I'll most likely be out of town during the draft...... So as not to hold things up I'd like to choose my teams now for cases 1/3/5 at pick #2 ...... I will take either the Rangers or Nationals (in that order).... So if #1 takes TEX, I'll take WAS..... If he takes WAS, then I'll take TEX...... With #26 in cases 2/4, I'll just take whatever is left..... Good Luck to everyone !!!!!!

I don't blame you on this one. Middlebrooks is in, which makes the choice seem logical from your collecting perspective, but who really knows what Topps has in store. The Rangers and Nats going first is easy, it's the rest that can be left up for interpretation.

I think the OP says we'll be doing all cases at the same time, so pick #1 in cases 2 and 4 also has the floor.

It's very possible, but not certain at this point. We may have to wait until the host starts his random team break, pull out a checklist, and let us know who/what is on it.

I updated the OP with this info about the drafting:

Drafting:
In order to speed things up there will be 2 drafts running at the same time. One draft will be for cases 1, 3, & 5 and the other will be for cases 2 & 4. You may choose the same team, or different teams for each case. Please make you pick to look like this:

Case 1: Team
Case 2: Team
Case 3: Team

Once you have made your pick you must PM the next person or put in your post that you cannot PM and ask someone else to do it. Please do not be lazy and ask for someone else to PM the next in line just because it takes too long. Please have a real excuse. Due to no finalized checklist at this time we will officially start the draft on Wednesday Aug 8th (Release Day). You may pick before then if your turn is up, but you may not amend your pick after it has already been made.

To those of you concerned with waiting that long to start the draft:
I am doing another 5 case break before this one (as previously noted when this break was first opened for testing). The soonest I will getting those cases is on the Friday of release week. With me breaking that night then sorting over the weekend that would get this break starting on that Monday (hopefully). That would mean 5+ days to do the drafting of 27 people. This is very doable.

The checklist needs to be in before I pick at 5... Who knows who they can throw in there with the call ups! Andrelton Simmons rookie maybe? Gose rc? Daniel nava? Harvey? Marte? What happens if we hit the one of the 5 rookie auto redemptions? Does the breaker hold the

3rd paragraph of the OP says:

There are (as of right now) 5 Rookie Redemptions, numbered 1-5. If Topps announces ahead of time who all, or some, of the redemptions will be of, those will go to the team who that player plays for at the time of the break. This has to be from Topps, and not speculation from the hobby community. If none, or not all, are announced these will be randomed to the teams who have no autos in the checklist.
