2012 Topps Triple Threads (TTT) Baseball is right around the corner for us! Since I had a few people ask about a high $$$ break I thought this would be a fun one to do, (1) 18 box Master case.

With each spot in this break your get 5 teams. The teams will be determined by a Snake Draft. A mod will random the list of 6 spots, using random.org, 5 times to determine the draft order. That order that comes up from random.org will be the first 6 teams drafted. The list will then be reversed for the next 6 time, and so on until all teams are picked.

Please not that some teams might not have base cards, but all teams have at least 1 card in the checklist (I did not check to see how many, I just made sure all 30 teams were listed).

In the event that we get a card from a team who is no longer in the MLB (Expo's as an example) the card will stay with that franchise. If the franchise is no longer in existence then the card will be randomed among the 6 spots. I dont see this this happening, but a plan is needed just in case.

In the event of more than one player on a card, the card will go to the person who has the most teams on that card. Example, if a card has 2 yankees and a red sox player, that goes to the yankees. If There are equal amount of people who have the team on that card it will be randomed amongst those teams.

There are some huge names in the product including auto's of Cal Ripken Jr., Ken Griffey Jr., Willy Mays, Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Reggie Jackson, and tons of current players as well. There are also Bat Knob cards, Bat Name Plate cards, Triple Jumbo Relics, and such like that. There will be at least (1) 1/1 card in the case.

Cost Breakdown:
(1) 18 box Master Case of 2012 TTT = $3490/6 = $581.66
Shipping and supplies*** = $10
Paypal Fee’s = (591.66 * .029 + .30) = $17.46
Total = $609.12

Cost per Spot: $609

***There is $10 is shipping and supplies due to the number of top loaders (and number of different sizes needed) and the weight of shipping. I will use First Class mail IF anyone is under 13oz. If it is over then I will ship via Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope or Box.

Please note that this is a presell product due to release on September 19th. I will start collecting payments once this break is filled and you will still have your paypal protection.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
• Please make you payments promptly so we can get the case ordered. I am on the west coast and it takes a week to get here. The sooner you pay, the sooner we pull some monster cards
• Breaks will be done rather late for those of you on the east coast. However the breaks will be recorded so you can watch later if you choose.
• I will do my best to get scans of all the hits posted the same night as the break.
• I, the host, reserve the right to participate in the break
• The break will take place live on Ustream.com and will be recorded if you cannot not make the break time.
• If you hit a card worth $250 or more you will be required to pay additional shipping costs for insurance and/or certified mail.
• Buying/selling/trading of spots in the break can only be made to other members in this break.
• Due to the large number of spots in this break it may take me a few days to get all the cards out in the mail.

looks like the average slot will be 43 cards - shipping might be high but as you stated lots of supplies and its only divided up by 6 guys. I assume this is really a small flat rate box that being shipped insured. No way do I want to see the host, nor the slot holders risk this kind of $$.

Yes, this is more than likely a small flat rate box or a flat rate envelope ($5 each).

Thank you for noticing that I suck and forgot to put that in there. This has been added to the OP:

When sending an Online Payment to the host, protect yourself by sending as goods (not gift). If a payment is sent as a "gift", you eliminate your chance of filing a claim or chargeback should the need arise. If possible, fund the payment with a credit card to be fully protected.

Is everyone ok with starting the draft on release day? Usually I get cases the Friday of release week since I am in CA, this will probably be true of this break. That would leave about 2.5 days to draft 30 spots.

should be ok. There are only 6 people in this draft. That should be plenty of time.
