I'm on the same page as you. I prefer licensed product as well meaning Topps or Bowman and Upper Deck stuff 2010 and prior.

Only suggested it to keep with the theme I was going for as all the product in that break was a sort of tribute to older stuff.

I also am not a fan of the unlicensed products but there are some nice cards that can be pulled.

Payment sent. Were we just paying for the 1st month? If we were supposed to pay for x number of months, then let me know and I will pay the rest.

Went through the Blowout specials and came across some interesting ideas for mixed box break:
2007 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Baseball Hobby Box : $158.95
2008 Bowman Sterling Baseball Hobby Box : $369.95
2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hobby Box : $189.95
2009 Bowman Sterling Baseball Hobby Box : $394.95
2009 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hobby Box : $224.95
2010 Historic Autographs "In Memory Of" Ed Baseball Box : $124.95
2010 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hobby Box : $194.95
2010 Bowman Platinum Baseball Hobby Box : $114.95
2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball Wrapper Redemption Pack : $11.95
2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball Wrapper Redemption 10 Pack Lot : $114.95
2011 Historic Autographs The Decades 50s Baseball Box : $79.95
2011 Topps Finest Baseball Hobby Box : $129.95
2011 Topps Triple Threads Baseball Hobby Box : $269.95
2011 Topps Tier One Baseball Hobby 6 Box Case : $449.95
2011 Topps Tier One Baseball Hobby Box : $74.95
2011 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts Baseball Hobby Box : $154.90
2011 Donruss Limited Cuts Baseball Hobby Box : $81.90
2011 Topps Baseball Value Box : $18.95
2011 Playoff Prime Cuts Baseball Hobby Box : $154.00
2011 Bowman Platinum Baseball Hobby 6 Box Case : $549.95

There are a lot of interesting combos that can be made from this list that would be fun to break.

Yeah I was putting together something like an 09-12 Chrome and Plat thing but didn't know how people felt about possible expired redemptions.

Not a fan of expired redemptions. The "what could have been" card.....

Very much like this idea as well. It's too bad it would put us over by almost $100 though otherwise it would be very nice:

3 x 2011 Topps Chrome = $200.70

2 x 2011 Topps Triple Threads = $539.90

Total = $740.60

I've tried some configurations, but can't seem to get anything decent to add on to the 2 x Triple Threads boxes, unless you only wanted to have 3 boxes opened the first break say by adding 1 box of 2012 Bowman Plat to the 2 boxes of Triple Threads (would be a total of $654.85).

We'd need to drop the TTT down to 1 box to work a decent package together that would include opening more than only 3 boxes on this first break.

Hmmm, what about

3 x 2011 Topps Chrome = $200.70
3 x 2012 Topps Finest = 314.85
1 x 2012 Bowman Platinum = 114.95

Total $630.50

Lots of color, lots of numbered cards.

Haha, another configuration which would be ultra small and quick but have a chance at some monsters -- probably would also shut several people out due to limited amount of actual cards this break would contain -- would be

1 x 2011 Triple Threads .... $269.95

1 x 2012 Topps Tribute.....$379

Total = $648.95

I like it...currently trying to see how it can be tweaked to get us closer to the $650 mark.

Ok here's how I tweaked it:

3 x 2012 Bowman Platinum = $344.85
3 x 2011 Topps Chrome = $200.70
1 x 2012 Topps Finest = $104.95

Total = $650.50

Still lots of color and lots of numbered cards. This is a pretty darn good value.

For the configs that are off by a few bucks here and there can we add packs to get us to the dollar amount? Or is it just boxes/cases configs?

I saw some really nice configs above that when adding a few packs the total was alot closer to the dollar amount we need.

Just an idea.

2008 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby 12 Box Case $419.95
2008 Bowman Baseball Hobby Box X 2 169.90
2008 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby Box X2 $69.90

Total $659.75 I think.

This has my vote but then again I have just started collecting Ivan Nova and might be just alittle bias.

We have so many ideas right now, I can't keep up! I just want to get this going as soon as the mods move to active to curb my enthusiasm.

Same here... I'm going to step back from throwing these things out there for now and wait until this thing actually gets moved to active and payments are in place and the OP gets this thing rolling towards getting that order together so we can have this first break and get the party started.

This thread isn't even active yet, so technically payments aren't even due, and yes we have to wait for people to make payments. Every month or other month, however Cat wants to do it, there will be a schedule time to pay and a time to rip, everyone will have a deadline.
