This is how this works:

• There is 1 box (2 mini boxes) of 2012 Topps Five Star Baseball plus 1 jumbo pack of 2012 Topps S1. The jumbo pack is so that everyone receives a card.
• There are 29 spots for the 30 teams (minus the astros). All 5 cards in the Five Star box are considered a hit and any auto/relic/ssp in the jumbo pack is considered a hit. The team on the card gets the hit. The shipping and supplies for all hits are included in the price.
• The remaining base/inserts from the jumbo pack are awarded randomly to the remaining spots that have no hits. Shipping is NOT included for these cards, but I am happy to ship them for you at cost only.
• Assuming we fill more than one box, there is a new random each box.
• There are only 29 teams per box because I could find no Astros on the checklist. If the Astros hit, they will randomed amongst all hitless teams.

Hey everybody!

This is a format that has been VERY popular with my club so I thought while we waited on the next big break we could try this.

These breaks are PER box! You get a 1 RANDOM team per spot. All cards are shipped EXCEPT 2012 Topps S1 base cards!! If you want these cards shipped too, just contact me and I will give you an updated invoice.

The odds of getting NOTHING BUT A BASE CARD ARE HIGH!! Think about it - there are only 5 hits per box of Five Star. I just want to be very clear that you have a good chance of getting nothing. Last time we ran this I got 1 base card.

Multi-team cards will be randomed if all the teams are equal – if a team has the majority of players, it goes to the team with the majority. Pacquiao (non baseball) type cards will be randomed amongst hitless teams.

I would really like to fill a case so that we have some guaranteed hits. However, whatever we fill is fine with me.

Shipping & Supplies Costs - These costs are built in so that no extra $ is necessary. The costs are for shipping 5 extremely thick cards and 1 2012 Topps jumbo hit.

1 box Five Star and 1 jumbo pack of 2012 Topps = $491.00/29 = $16.93

Shipping 6 cards/hits = $1.64 x 6 = $9.84/29 = $0.34

Supplies = $1.00 x 6 = $6.00/29 = $0.21

Thick top loaders (180pt, 197pt, 240pt)
Slider boxes for books

$16.93 slot cost + $0.34 shipping + $0.21 supplies + paypal fees = $18.30

$18.50 first spot, $18.00 additional spot

If you hit a $250+ card, I will ask for an extra $6 for priority mail shipping, signature confirmation, and the extra paypal fees.

If you hit a $1000+ card, I will ask for about an extra $35 for express mail shipping and insurance. (Price to be determined exactly at such a time as needed.)

International shipping - either you must pay for registered or express mail or you must post publicly in this thread that you are willing to take the first class risk.

General Rules for my breaks:

1. If you hit a card worth $250 or more, I will ask you to pay for upgraded shipping - priority mail, signature confirmation, and insurance.

2. If you join this break, you must be willing to pay within 24 hours. We want to order right away - it takes 4 days after payment for the cases to arrive.

3. If you join this break, you must subscribe to this thread. It makes life MUCH EASIER.

4. The host DOES have a spot. If this bothers you in any way, please do not join. All breaks are done LIVE and recorded.

5. Once you receive your cards, please post in the thread that your cards were received. For anything outside the USA, I will provide the customs # as proof of delivery.

6. If a pull wins the monthly "best pulls" contest on BO, the prize will be a new break with all hits (or teams) randomed amongst all participants.

7. Do not sell spots outside the break.

8. Shipping a large lot to Canada is freaking EXPENSIVE! Please remember that I must send large lots Express in order to get tracking - these additional costs must be paid by you prior to shipping. (Small lots can go First Class.)

9. I reserve the right to limit who I allow in my breaks.
