BDPP is like the worst product for me from a team break perspective lol. Just not a fan of waiting a few years to see if someone actually turns out well. It's hard enough for me to hold cards during the off season to see how they do the next year :P. The only player I actually care about in BDPP this year is Kevin Plawecki (Purdue grad), and I'm not sure if he'll be on the checklists or what team he'll be on.

I know it's going to the next big thing next month though, and a lot of people love it, so I'm fine with it being opened. It'd be nice to throw in something else with it though, something that's more veteran based. Maybe try and hit some of those teams that got shafted with having no autos in bowman chrome. (Not thinking about me - I did pretty well this month with vet color and some hits in the update, but I think there were some who did not so well.)

Unique would be awesome, but maybe better the following month with another cheaper case. Could do something like 3-5 boxes of '12 Topps Chrome, Archives, or Mini.

(On a random note, damn those 2012 Olympics hobby boxes have gone down. I never got an auto from 10 of those blasters, I am so tempted to pick up a few hobby boxes.)

If everyone wants to do 2012 BDPP then I wll be fine. I don't do much on the prospect side so if we could add a few boxes or cheap case of the something else that would be great.

As for the 15th member, Clippins posted before you uploaded the images about joining so he should have first crack at it.

I would love a case of 2012 BDPP. Then if we were going to add boxes to it, I like the suggestion of 2012 Topps Chrome being added.

Also, are the golden giveaway codes being mailed if we haven't received a PM about them yet?

Also i am in for whatever the board wants, but like others have said, something for everyone would be ideal.

No, I just haven't PM'd them yet, sorry. Working to get the 5 cases for other break sorted first. Should PM by Sunday afternoon - hope that's ok. I also have to PM the codes for the Presidential Predictors - that will happen at the same time as the GG codes.

In all seriousness, it sounds like the general concensus is BDPP and something else. I personally like the Topps Chrome idea, so let's go with that. I'm thinking 1 case of BDPP, and 3 boxes of Topps chrome. Total cost should be around $74 per member.

Once all of you have received your cards, I'll post the new break in the testing waters section.

In all seriousness, I didn't even see what went on in that original thread, but looking back now you're right. I say if you still want that Phillies slot you should take it. That other person seemed to have a really poor attitude anyway, so I'm glad they bailed as this should be a fun group.

We're still waiting on one more member, and confirmation from everyone for November, but I haven't had any cancel, so we should be good! The products we've been discussing are 1 case of 2012 BDPP plus 3 boxes of 2012 Topps Chrome. Does that work for everyone?

I am fine with BDPP but i broke a case of topps chrome and hated it - Would only want Significant rookies, or parellels when you ship please...

Got my cards today! There were a lot more Astros cards from the chrome than I was expecting in there, so that was a nice surprise. Hopefully some of them turn out ok

Very pleased with this month and looking forward to next month's breaks.
