Ideally this will be done the day the case arrives, cards will be scanned and recaps posted before I head to bed. Cards should ship within 24 hours, but may take 48 hours. If your north of the border feel free to join - just let me know and we'll take a look at shipping and what it may run so you know what to expect. Typically about the same price.

Rules

Have fun! Dont forget to subscribe to the thread if you request slots so you can keep track of whats going on . The faster we fill up, the faster we can get the case ordered, the faster we get the random done. You can trade slots once the random has been posted (once everyone has paid I will request this be done). Trades must be posted and confirmed by both parties. If you had multiple slots to someone outside of the break the buyer will be responsible for covering the shipping on their new slots.

Still unsure if I'm going but this would be great to bust there and get the freebees! I cant do this live (unless someone thats going would have the ability to video it) but can get it recorded and then upload to youtube as soon as I get back into the states (dont have international service on my phone so cant stream it, other issue would be the $125 or so to get me there and back (600+ miles, which by itself is a 10 hour trip, but with 70 slots we're looking at less than 2 bucks a slot for whats likely a 30% chance at an extra hit (if they do 2 per box - typically /10 but also chances for 1/1's)).

The Book is basically the box. Superlative has always been issued in a large box that resembles a book (think encyclopedia), you open it up and then there's the cards in it. This picture from Volume 2 (also why you see it called Volume III)



I'm not sure how this release will be done. The past 2 versions have been already sleeved and toploaded. ITG seems to have gone away with this and been using slide boxes, which is why I factored in the sleeves/toploads into my estimates.

No I havent...we fill it I'll contact him. He's kind of had it as a standing offer on the past few breaks (SK, my past 2), but at least for mine they havent filled.

List updated - Up to 18 slots...need to keep it in factors of 21 for the boxes. But Numbers i gave for Toronto are based on all slots filling (70).

FYI based on the news announced last week - there will be 2 incentive cards per box opened at the National.

Superlative Hockey Volume III Redemption

Each collector breaking a book of Superlative Hockey Volume III at the In The Game booth will receive TWO Team Superlative Game-Used Memorabilia cards produced specially for the 2012 Fall Expo.

The Team Superlative Redemption cards will feature 3, 4, 5 and 6 memorabilia piece cards. Each card will be limited to 9 silver versions and a 1/1 gold version. There are 94 different Team Superlative cards being produced for the 2012 Fall Expo.

Ok -guys - need to figure out what our status on this is as well as bump this. Is everyone still in on this?

We currently have 14 slots, which makes this a quick and easy 2 box case if everyone's still in.

Thats not enough IMHO to take and drive to bust in Toronto for 4 extra cards.
