With cases of the LEGENDARY 2011 Topps Value Boxes dwindling away, I thought it would be fun to break 50 boxes and try to land someone a bunch of Trout update rookies and some great Chrome auto's.

My personal experience with Value boxes
1. Bryce Harper chrome auto
2. Dustin Pedroia canary 1/1
3. JP Arencibia canary 1/1
4. Bryce Harper Gold retail which ended up getting a BGS 10

here is a link to an old blowout thread from a guy who pulled the Hosmer super-auto Huge 2011 Topps Value Box Break - Super Auto

This will be a TEAM DRAFT with the exception of the Harper retail inserts which will grouped into 2 different slots, 1 slot for the Red parallels and 1 slot for the Gold/Silver parallels combined. The Washington Nationals Slot will include any Harper cards that are inside the Bowman Chrome packs, just not the Red/Silver/Gold box toppers

2011 Topps Value Box: 32 Slots

Price:
50 - 2011 Topps Value Boxes = $974.75
974.75/32 = $30.46 base slot price
$30.46 + $3.50 shipping + $1.00 Supplies = $34.96
$34.96 + pp fees (.3 + 1.029%) = $36.27


Total Slot Price - $36.25
Second Slot - $36.25 with upgraded priority shipping
Third slot - $34.75

Special Rules for this Break (By joining this break, you agree to these rules!)

1. If you hit a card worth $150 or more, I will ask you to pay for upgraded shipping - priority mail, signature confirmation, and insurance.

2. If you join this break, you must SUBSCRIBE to this thread.

3. The break will be held live on Ustream, link will be provided 24 hours before break.

4. A recap video will be posted after the break for those who couldn't make it (no scans, I'm not a fan of unnecessary handling of the cards, too many opportunities for damage).

5. Once you receive your cards, please post in the thread that your cards were received. For anything outside the USA, I will provide the customs # as proof of delivery.


IMPORTANT TO READ:

1. You CAN trade at anytime until the Break has started.

2. DO NOT SELL SPOTS OUTSIDE THE BREAK!

3. Payment is required within 72 hours of break going active

DRAFT RULES
1. The draft clock will run from 10 AM to 11 PM cst every day starting the next day after the random is posted.

2. You get 30 minutes from the time the previous pick was made. If you miss your clock (and have not sent a list), you are on automatic auto-pick until you check-in.

3. If you send a list, I am going to use it. If you are on and want to draft instead of me using your list, just post "Hey I am here to draft - do not use my list." You need to do this well in advance of your spot or I may not see it. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I wait the entire 30 minutes and then use your list. When your spot comes up, I use your list.

4. Common courtesy is extremely important in these drafts - especially this one. PM the next person in line (or ask someone to PM for you if you cannot). Subscribe to the thread and stay updated! If you are nearing your 30 minute deadline and are still picking, just post a comment - "Hey, I am here and picking now."

5. You CAN trade during your clock - but there is only 30 minutes for you or whoever buys the spot to pick. Their clock does NOT start over after a sale or trade - make sure they know that they are up!

6. DO NOT SELL SPOTS OUTSIDE THE BREAK!

7. Remember, the clock starts after the last pick is made. PM's are nice, but your clock does not start after a pm. Be sure and track the draft - it is your responsibility.

8. The clock is 30 minutes, but I may not be able to immediately auto-pick every 30 minutes of every day.

Good point... since there are only 50 packs of chrome the value of the USA slot would be much less than a team slot. I would think one random for all base/color USA slots and another random for any autos would be best in the end. Open to suggestions though...

i think it would be a fair spot to be honest because i opened only one of these and hit a usa auto xfractor. it's a gamblers spot really but there could be a nice super hidden in there

I think the best thing to do would be to wait until this thing fills and then we'll see if we have enough interest for that 1 extra slot
