9 @ $2.50 for shipping & supplies (easily covered) = $22.50
Insuring say 2-3 packages @ $10 total = $10.00
$196.50 * 2.9% + .30 per payment for PayPal = $8.40
Cost = $204.90

Via PM, you said that $11 was too low and it would be $12 per slot which is $35 to host which sounds reasonable. So the six-box break would be one possibility.

2 - Three-Box random
No NCAA promo and only three winners, but no additional costs, no eBay fees and only three shipments. There'd be $43 leftover in B.O. credit that you could perhaps use and you cover our shipping costs, or could be used for B.O. to ship to us directly with some leftover for you.

3 - Another one-caser?

4 - Another product entirely?

2011 Topps Chrome Football and/or 2011 Topps Finest Football would be about a pack each for each slot...could do a pack break?

Anyone else have other suggestions? Honestly just trying to throw a few examples out there...

My only concern and the reason I sent this via pm to everyone was to see if all are willing to throw in more money to do a break that allows you to get into the March Madness promo, or do we try to find something that does not cost the group any more money.

I will take a look at what the shipping was for each members slot in the last break to come up with the best possible pricing per slot if the group chooses the SKE boxes.

Can either of you explain what you mean by the six hit slots not moving forward to the promo. I may just not be thinking clearly or having one of those moments but I am not sure I understand what it is that you are saying.

It seems like not everyone wants to put in more money to do another case so I would vote for the 3 box random shipped direct to the winners. Re randomize the final slot list to come up with the winners. Everyone has as many chances as they had slots.

Hey Bryce - no problem - if we went the six-box route, I was thinking the one main hit per box (auto/mem/other) would not continue on to the promo and the remaining 14 other spots would. Whether all 20 went on or just the 14 "non-hit" spots went on - either way is fine here - just thinking that maybe the value of a "non-hit + a spot in the next promo" would be a little more close in value to a "box hit + no spot in next promo" sort of thing. Thanks!

Here's another idea that was given to me by a member of the group. Add 1 spot for me in the random which is what we had discussed and most had agreed to. Have an MOD randomize the list and the winner takes all. I would have to check with Danny to see if the gift code could be transferred.

Im fine with doing the 6 boxes for the promo spot but even if you do get a hit I think you should be part of anything else we win. Also what about getting any 6 things from the promo to random off instead of just the 3 sportkings boxes? There is a Jon jones auto for $25 and boxes start at $29.95that way we don't have to add money or miss out on the promo plus more people get something.

I like this, one person ends up with something meaningful and were done. Again though, I am ok with just about anything.

Agreed - it probably makes the most sense for everyone. The gift certificate is fully transferable as well. Maybe due to the "one hit - high dollar" value, Danny or Matt T. could run a live random for us on BlogTV? I ran a $5K break before and Danny was more than helpful in running the random for us.

I agree, winner takes all and be done with it as long as they can transfer the certificate and everyone is good with it

I will let a few more people weigh in but I feel it would be the best bet. This could go on an on and all of us are too busy to keep messing with this.

Randomize and winner takes all.

I will speak to Danny in regards to a live random and transferring the certificate.

I prefer to break more product( not necessarily the promo) and no extra money(besides shipping) but am fine with the majority.

Guys how about we vote on these 2 options since it seems putting up extra money is not for everyone. Lets get this gift certificate spent!

1. Have Danny do a live random for winner takes all
2. 3 box random done by Danny or another mod (3 winners)

I am assuming the random will be done from our final random list for the break.

Optyion 1 sounds good to me as well.

I heard back from Danny and he said the gift code can be transferred as I have it already but the random will not be live.

I do not see an issue with the random not being live as they have randomized much more expensive items via random.org. If you have an issue with this it is blowouts decision not mine.

I see 5 of us have posted and all want to do the winner take all. Should we PM the others and give it another day or two or just go ahead since a majority have voted? I assume that we will use the list below for the random?!?

The options have been up long enough for all to see. I pm'd everyone as well. As far as I am concerned the majority has spoken and I will request a random on this list tomorrow unless I see objections.
