Coltman and All----feeling a little "chromed out"---this product has been done in several breaks....I say sub one of the Bowman's for Mayo (something completly different and untried)...create 2 or more randomizations for the non-football cards...they add an interesting element and would add value and everyone would get a shot at those.
Just my 2 cents. |

another option: 1 case 09 Mayo, 1 case 09 Certified and 1 case 09 UD Philadelphia. The 09 Phila has 14 boxes; 1 auto/box, 2 mem./box, 1 5x7 Chicle. says 1 auto 5x7 in every case. just throwing out some ideas coltman.Starting to get burned out on Chrome. I like the info from you guys...
As far as 09 Certified, from what I gather, this product is really really hit or miss. Our last case we had and from other cases on BO that were ripped, I just dont see the value at the price it is at. Mayo, sorry guys, I am not going there with this product. To much non FB stuff in it, auto's and base. I just dont want to deal with that. As far as being Chromed out, yes, I am too, but when BO is out of the stuff, we are going to say, wish we had done 1 more break with that stuff. Chrome is always sellable and collectable, that is why I chose that. As far as the sets. Yes, it will take away from the RC's for each team, but so you end up with 3 instead of 5, how many RC's in that product will that effect? 3 maybe 4 (Harvin, Stafford, Crabtree and Sanchez)? Would you not rather have a chance at a set that sells for 40 to 50? I thought this was a cleaver twist, but maybe not... Once it get posted, I will see how it plays out. If it dosnt get filled, then I will go back to the drawing boards... ![]() Thanks again everyone. Chris |

also....
As far as the question of rebates or price difference for the bottom of the draft. Lets just say, I will not go there. Group Breaks are ment to be some what of a gamble. It is not fair to say, you have a bad slot, so I give you some money back, most of the "bad" slots end up doing pretty well concidering. Plus, I dont think you would get the mods to agree to it. So, I will not be going down that road... ![]() Thanks Chris |

I agree 110% Chris - every GB is a gamble - no refund should ever be given. I mean think about it, what if the #1 pick takes the Jets and gets 0 Sanchez autos - should a refund be given? Of course not. Refunds for bad slots is just silly.
Anyhow, tealhornet, payment was received, so pick away! |

coltman no matter what break you post I think it will fill. Original thought was 2 cases 09 Bowman Chrome and 1 case 09 Topps Chrome at $60 a slot; correct? Since Finest was out. It should fill. The Box Toppers in BC help. And you're right about the sets, if you get one you can almost make your money back for 1 of the slots you had.

I was sitting here at work wondering if there were two VinnyH because this was totally opposite what you said last night. Then I noticed the title of your post. Now I understand. I guess you aren't Christain Slater.
![]() By the way, I totally agree

tried to wake up early and go get it this morning, but after that game last night... I was not able to get up early and go get it. So hopefully UPS is on time, usually get there around 5, but sometimes they are as late as 6:15...
By the way...Big thanks to Bill for last night! ![]() ![]() ![]()
