That is not the point, the point is that everyone gets a fair shake at something for an equal price and usually the teams are better represented or combined with the other crappy teams that have a chance at 2 whole auto's. I admit that I sound a little whinny for not getting anything, but after the list was put together with the odds for each team, I knew spot would not produce. I understand luck of the draw, but I trusted that all the teams would be at least fairly represented. This is for the best really, so thanks for reminding "the whole point of team breaks" because after being in over 50 of them in the last 4.5 years I needed some newbie to tell me how it is. I really did need a reason to stop joining them because the last three BB breaks have all been duds and I am better off buying my own boxes and cases that will produce better results anyway.

This break was great! I pulled 3 auto's, do you hear me complaining? If you have been in sooo many group breaks, then you know, that is the chance you take! Pat, you did very well on this break and I enjoyed it very very much!

I think Pat does great breaks and I was not disputing that. I just thought this one was put together a little quick and slots of teams with less hits have usually been combined in the past. I am not worried about the money, I just was trying to make a point that in the future team breaks (vs. hit breaks) should have more thought put into them if it is not a standard large MLB set. I stated that I needed a good reason to take a break from group breaks and I got it. It was not because of 0 auto's and it was not because a team group break has anything to do with the lottery.

The point he is trying to make is that usually the weaker teams are usually combined and he doesn't understand why they weren't in this break. Look at the 2007 EEE break that was done several months ago. There was one slot that was made up of 4 or 5 teams that only had like 1 auto per team. I don't blame him for being pissed about basically, like he said, lowering the slot price for everyone else. STILL NO SCANS FOR CASE 2

Yeah, but my point was he knew when he signed up for the damn break that it was a team slot break - with 1 team per slot - so why complain about it afterwards?
Does it suck getting 0 autos? Yes. But in case 2 there were autos for his team [I know he only had them in case 1] - again, luck of the draw. |
