I can see both sides of this, and see how it can be problematic.

I agree the '13 products may not have the "value" to some of you (who are hoping to get bigger hits), yet '13 products do have "value" tp PC collectors who want to get the new cards of their team.

I am an "in between" Rams collector. I collect autograph and a select few players Rams card, and have a friend (local who I work with and see often) who collects all Rams cards. The ones I do not want, go to him. If I collected all Rams cards, I would definately want to go with '13 products because I would not have those cards yet.

So I do see both sides of this topic

You do not have me marked as paid.
Remember, I paid for the rest of the year last time

I do not mind the year we break, although it would be nice to try something newer. However, is the majority set on certified, or are we looking at anything else to break?

I just paid for Sep/Oct.

That being said, I would also prefer 2012.

2013 has provided me with tons of base from these breaks. I'm sorry, but I'm tired of paying $31/month for 30 base cards.

I'm fine with what we decide as a group, however, I would strongly recommend we stick to Topps or Panini. I don't want any non licensed product.

If I had my say, here's what my choices would be:

2013
2013 Panini Certified Football Hobby 8 Box Case $719.95 32 Hits

2013 Panini Momentum Football Hobby 5 Box Case $759.95 50 Hits

2013 Panini Prestige Football Hobby 12 Box Case $850 48 Hits

2012
2012 Panini Certified Football Hobby 8 Box Case $724.95 32 Hits

Or we can do a hodgepodge of boxes.

It's 30.00 a month We break every 2 months . So Sept you just make a payment for either half or all of the fee. Then in OCT when all pay the full amount 62.10 combined for both months then we break what was selected.

Limited is $1349.95 for a case, which is out of our budget.

If we do it by box, it's still $90 a box, for 3 hits. That would be 10 boxes for 30 hits. There are better value boxes out there imo.

Just got nineout payment.

product selection and ideas is exactly why I wanted to try and break guys into mini groups to bring out selections. We obviously will all have different options and suggetions - and why these can be a pain.

There is nothing set in stone that says we have to do a "case" of something. Its easier in some aspects and likely greater sucess at hitting a big card from that prodcut, but each team will is likely to have some good and some bad years. But then with this also goes the value both for the team in terms of collect-ability but also resell (in my mind this is a factor even if this is a PC club) and also the product breaking value. Im perfectly happy doing say a 10 box asst product break and we end up covering 4-5 different years. Just tossing out the idea 10 boxes figuring the average mid range box would be in that 90 range.

I like the idea of different boxes over different years.

I like option #1. overall will have better chance at some bigger hits in a case compared to a couple boxes from a case of different years and product. I joined this group because we would normally do cases; year really doesn't matter for my PC team(usually just the RC class for the year hurts that).I like the chance at the Older player hits they put in than the RC's most of the time anyways and it's easier to get those from a case than a couple boxes. I know people want the big hit RC and that's why they like only certain years for their PC team but if you don't bust a case your chances at those hits are almost 0 anyways(for RC's or Vets). That's why I don't depend on the RC classes for these breaks because your going to have bad RC classes like this year. So again doing a case is my vote; no matter what year.

I agree with this busting a case has a better chance for a bigger hit(s) . Looks like right now the voting is

Option 1 -3

Option 2 -3 with 2 of these votes saying 1 would be ok as well .

Still have 10 members yet to vote .
