Since it looks like the 2nd case will fill I have an idea I would like to run by the others in this break. Given the assumed distribution of 11 Base w/Parallels, 3 Turkey Red w/Parallels, and 1 Ali SP would it be in anyone's interest to make 30 spots for the base random in case 2 if Rambel's on board? It seems like each slot would have an even value split 3 ways since parallels only in KO give Base & Turkey even footing with the Ali SP. Everyone would get something extra and if you bought more slots you're not at a disadvantage. Any opinion's on this before the 2nd case is paid for and randomized?

If I understand you right...

You are saying that there are 30 extra slots if we consider the base cards, Turkey Red cards and Ali card from each box as 3 slots. So 10 slots would get base cards, 10 more slots would get Turkey Red cards and another 10 slots would get the Ali cards.

I'm all for each person getting one of these 30 additional slots. Plus, it might be easier to figure out as you can randomize these from the beginning. Whatever the group wants is fine with me.

Yes, you got it right about the 30 total "base" slots. It is too late for the 1st case obviously but the 1st case's base slots were randomized prior to the checklist release. If we are to assume that there will be even collation we are looking at 3 Gold base and 3 Gold Mecca's per case. So each Base or Mecca slot would have a 33+% shot at hitting any parallels which would sell pretty well in my estimation. Plus the Ali as an SP has a guaranteed value since it's limited to /350. The slots distribute pretty evenly with each at least worth $5(imo) and no one is left out from an "all-or-nothing" approach. I only brought this up since KO boxes have the added appeal of the parallels and I know we are all putting a lot of money into this product. Feels a bit like the "Exquisite" for Boxing

I can go ahead accept and accept payment. If you already have a slot in Case#1, please just add the additional slot price.

If you are a new slot holder, please calculate the payment amount based on the 1st post.

I will do what the group wants to do for case #2. This does sound like a better idea for everyone to get something additional. Everyone involved in case #2, please let me know if you would do a base/turkey/ali SP 30 slot randomization over the 10 slot from the original thread.

If this goes through, I will have the mod do 2 randomizations with the 1st being the slot order and the 2nd being the base/turkey/ali randomization.

how would we do the base randomization? Is it in order...base #1 get base card #1, #2 gets red mecca if that's the next base? I'm cool with that...but I still like the way we did it with case #1. I'll go with whatever majority for case #2.

I'm confused...there's 18 cards per pack (box) so taking out the 3 hits wouldn't there be 15 base/parallels/mecca cards left per box? That would leave a uneven amount of those "base" cards if there's 30 slots.

Are we only doing randomization of the parallels/red mecca, etc?

If we look at just the parallels...there's 2 base parallels and 2 red parallels + the Ali sp base, making 5 total "base hits" per box x 10 boxes= 50 parallels

This doesn't even include the 1/1 base cards...to me it doesn't add up. What do we do with all the "regular" base cards?
