Sorry for the confusion. It was just my opi. and the two teams were examples off the top of my head. To me a Hit could be a auto/GU/Low numbered parallel. Would a red 1/1 be as cool as a auto? To me yes.

The DBacks have Pollock and Borchering from Sterling and BDP, as well as a few half-way decent AUs from DEEE. The Pirates have Tony Sanchez, one of the best AUs from BDP (and Sterling). Each team, other than the 6-7 above, has a decent AU or RC/Chrome parallel possibility (unless I missed one).

Half way there.

The chances of me being on tonight are slim. I will be be drinking heavily in about 25 min, so I will probably update further starting tomorrow morning

Option 2 as well. I presume the AFLAC's would go to the team that drafted them?

I'll take 1 slot and am indifferent to the options. Thanks!

I want option 2 and give me 2 slots please.

Patrick, when your hangover wears off we need to decide what to do with the weaker slots

Could do something like this:

Los Angeles Dodgers also get Sterling Boxes 1-2 WBC Relics
Milwaukee Brewers also get Sterling Boxes 3-4 WBC Relics
San Diego Padres also get 09 BDPP Case 1 WBC Cards and Parallels
Seattle Mariners also get 09 BDPP Case 2 WBC Cards and Parallels
St. Louis Cardinals also get 09 BC Case 1 WBC Cards and Parallels
Tampa Bay Rays also get all Boxes 1-10 08 EEE Non-Baseball Cards
Toronto Blue Jays also get all Boxes 11-20 08 EEE Non-Baseball Cards

or you could random.org the teams and what else they get and pair em up!
I personally think the Yankees should be on this list unless I am missing something.

This is a great idea.

At $140 or so per team, I like the idea of every team getting as much value as possible. If we randomize the non-MLB hits, it's conceivable that strong teams like the White Sox or the Braves might get even stronger - while a few of the folks in the break really get shafted.

I just threw out the teams above after a (very) short review of all 30 teams. The Yankees are definitely borderline... Vendetti (sp?) has AUs in Chrome and Sterling, and Joba has an AU in DEEE. Other than that, it's not a big spot.

Bit of a busy morning for me. I have a meeting here in a few minutes that should last about an hour. When I get done, I will update everything.

Does that list of teams look like the ones we want to use? Barring anyone else coming up with something better, that will do it.

How about this, there are a few more weak teams IMO (this strengthens the weaker teams):
Anyone else think of any teams besides these or does the 1st list suit people better. LMK!

Not sure if there is any spots left but if there are I'll take two! You also said that the teams would be randomized, so are we being randomly assigned teams or doing it draft style ?

Looks like we have 2 slots left. Solid support of option 2. Any more ideas on how we should divvy out the WBCs? I'm liking the most recent list that Chris came up with. Still need 1 more team to fill the last spot in that list.

We will. He was just using that as an example.

Good news! We are full. Please send payments asap to pskell02@yahoo.com and mark as goods with your board name in the notes field. So I can order the cases and supplies hopefully tonight.
