it looks like kshreeves originally had 15 slots but ended up only buying 7 slots...i think vc got the rest of his slots off the waiting list...he still got 15 slots in the random though...

Yep, kevinshreves had 15, but then vintage and macauley picked up 7 and 1 spots of kevin, so kevin only had 7. Looks like we are going to have to do the randomization again.

i dont think that is fair to everyone...why not just re random those 15 slots between the 3 guys involved because that is where they would be placed anyways.

Crap VC your right, I left kevins slots instead of changing the name to you and mcaulay.

I have the original list on my pc that has kevins 1-7, then mcaulay's 1, then your 7. They match the order the random draw came out, I just never replaced the names before I hit randomize.

That make any sense at all?

Basically I have the 191 person list with numbers, I did the randomization and removed the original numbers.

So the original list looked like this

1 - kevinshreves
2 - kevinshreves
3 - kevinshreves
4 - kevinshreves
5 - kevinshreves
6 - kevinshreves
7 - kevinshreves
8 - kevinshreves (mcaulay)
9 - kevinshreves (VC)
10 - kevinshreves (VC)
11 - kevinshreves (VC)
12 - kevinshreves (VC)
13 - kevinshreves (VC)
14 - kevinshreves (VC)
15 - kevinshreves (VC)

When I get back to the pc that has the list I can properly match the names up. So if we get to the next slot listed as kevin (can't go further as it is an auto draft), we will stop momentarily. Once I get the names fixed, everything is good to go.

Well, this changes things. Can we wipe the board from #1 and re-random the slots attained by Kevin between Kevin and Vintage instead of doing this all over again? It's just a name on the list and I'm sure more people will be ticked off if they lose spots versus one person(Kevin) who could lose the #1. Just an idea because I'm sure some people are happy with with what they got.

Because the original list I put into random.org had the correct number next to it. I just need to switch the names and we are fine. I'll post both lists when I get a chance and show you what I mean.

from what patrick said it seemed to me as if we can continue to draft until we get to kevins next pick...

possibly but maybe patrick already knows it is kevins by which slot it was assigned...either way kevins next pick is # 10

The first hit does belong to kevin. I think it was the second or 3rd kevin on the prerandomized list. He went on a cruise starting yesterday morning and won't be back until Monday, so he told me to make his picks using my best judgment. Did a little bit of research and came up with Mitchell as the guy that I personally would take #1.

As I said, I have the first list on my pc and I will get everything squared away when I get home. And like I mentioned before, it only effects the 3 members involved, so we can continue the draft until their slot pops up again.
