Originally I wanted to do it this way. But to be fair to everyone, I also want to get this filled as quickly as possible. It's randomized, so theoretically it doesn't really matter if you are #1 or #18. Is there a slot that you wanted? Talk it over w/ whoever is there....

I am not a big fan of the waffling, but if you want the slots that you signed up for you have until 8PM EST tonight to pay for them. I already told GURU that I am PMing him w/ a final count at that time.

It is 98% certain we'll be ready to go tonight... GURU has assured me he'll be ready at 8 for any remaining slots. Wait and see....

I don't expect anyone to be hovering over this on a Friday night. But it's a slow weekend for me so I'll be here.

RJF - Again, being a newbie, do you mind explaining/clarifying? (Thank you to all for bearing along with me as I ask these questions on my first group case break.)

Once you have all the money in for all of the spots, you will then randomize a draft order and then, this being a team break, the #1 draft, say it's Guru, has his choice of 1 of 32 NFL teams and he gets all the cards from that team?

Yes.. that is what makes a DRAFT break unique. There ARE some die-hard fans out there, so you can never ASSUME what team the #1 person might take.

For example... let's say SCHMEDLEY gets the #1 pick. Maybe they don't like the NFL Teams that had the top 5 Draft Picks. So they might be plenty happy to be at #6 or #7 to still have a very good chance at THEIR team. SCHMEDLEY can certainly trade the rights for whatever he/she wants, and then go after a certain TEAM in a more appropriate slot. Trading up and down a draft list (BEFORE THE ACTUAL BREAK) is also what makes this a very fun style of Group Break.

But as choices are made, obviously the names lower on the RANDOMIZED list get fewer and fewer teams to choose from. Hopefully this clarifies things.

Just want to confirm that the draft is Monday 7th at 6:30est? We will have till then to trade draft spots or do you want to have a deadline to get the spots in order?

I forgot I had that posted. YES... let's stick to the plan. Hopefully we can get MAX participation on MONDAY and knock it out. But.... If a case gets paid off over the weekend I will try and RANDOMIZE the list for that case. That will give everyone 24-48 hours to wheel and deal to move up/down the list.

Is this ok w/ everyone?
