2010 Panini Prestige Football Hobby 12 Box Case Team Draft Break

This will be a team draft break by conference. To increase the odds of getting a good draft slot I’m going to separate the teams by conference – NFC and AFC. Just let me know which conference you want your slots in. Once this fills and payments are received (and following the NFL draft this week), each conference list will be randomized 5 times via random.org and the break will be broadcast live on ustream and uploaded to youtube. Users will then draft teams based on the randomized conference lists.

This way, you double the chances of getting the team you want (1:16 odds)!

Configuration: 12 boxes per case. 24 packs per box. 8 cards per pack.

Rules and procedure:
1. I will post my PayPal address once both conferences are filled. Please issue payment as goods with your forum name in the notes area.
2. Once all payments are made, I will random the names of all participants in each conference 5 times using random.org to generate a draft order.
3. Once all teams are drafted in each conference, trading will be permitted up until 30 minutes before the actual start of the break.
4. Should a card feature multiple teams, it will be randomed 5 times between the participants who own those teams.
5. The break will be streamed live via ustream and later uploaded to youtube. I will also scan hits and post them in the thread ASAP.
6. Any card without a drafted team will be randomed after the break.

i doubt many people would want to do it this way, but i think it would be intersting if we were able to do the group break draft before the actual nfl draft, that way it would be more exciting watching the acutal draft!

The idea of conducting the draft before the actual NFL Draft seems like a fun idea, but ultimately I think a majority would prefer to strategize with their picks after they know what's out there. My two cents.

And good point -- the actual NFL draft will likely happen before all payments are received, so i guess this is a moot point.

Something with prestige is there are some undrafted rookie free agent cards. What will be done with those? It doesnt seem like a big deal, but one usually turns out to be a SP.
