Crap...guys I've got a small issue (or rather large)...I've got to be out of town tomorrow night...can we push the break to Tuesday night? I'm so sorry....I totally forgot I was needed in Ann Arbor tomorrow night. There is a chance this may not happen, but I'm thinking its closer to 20% than 80%.

Well can't say today was all that great...start working at 06:30 and didnt get to the hotel till 21:00...do the math and thats a 14.5 hour day...first one to crack the lazy government worker joke can see pictures of the log jam that we put about 4 hours into cutting up!

But onto todays good notice...per the wife, box arrived safely at my house today.

Break is on for tomorrow night - Tuesday June 29, 2010. I know we've got at least one person out west. What works better for everyone 8 or 9 pm eastern? Given its 5 packages, I'll have those scanned, packed up, and shipped in under an hour so no worries there.

hell I didnt even explain the rest of it all, Robert likes to combine his hobby and his work so he changes up his outfits pending on what group break he hosted recently, apparently from what I hear, there are some superlative II boxes floating around with some string attached to them and a hole in the back of them for one of his "performances"....hmmmm

Wow...good thing those boxes are fully wrapped...I'd of just spit spaghetti all over them!

Aside from the Chippendales gig I'm a hydrotech for the US Geological Survey. I used to cover most of the Detroit area (Wayne and Oakland Co) as my area of coverage (we have about 165 realtime sites Surface Water sites in Michigan (USGS Real-Time Data for Michigan_ Streamflow). So yes...I'm kinda a professional wa wa wa water boy

For each of these sites we need to run levels to them about every 3-5 years. Thats what I've been working on for the past 2 days. Problem on Monday was that we got to "Arbys (Upper River Rouge at Detroit)" and found a huge log jam downstream of the gage (long story short these log jams can have huge effects on our stage-discharge ratings) and need to be removed as soon as possible. Bad luck for me, we had the saws packed. So 4+ hours later, we had to give up. The water level was to high (the stage value we publish does not mean water depth) as it went over my waders...and those that have cut debris/trees..after 4 hours your kinda tired (plus I doubt many have done this in water)! But one of the trees is over 4 ft wide some 20 ft long and our 22" bar could not cut through it (and even with the water being 3-4 ft high, we couldnt move it). So we're heading back tomorrow to finish the job, repair another site (that lightening hit), and hopefully get 2 more sets of levels run.

As for tonights break. Since I didnt hear back from everyone yesterday, I'm going to go for 9 since I everyone pretty much said they didnt care and this will give everyone the chance to attend in case 8 wouldnt work
