I was gonna offer the same thing.

Flo if you want me to, I can text you once I hit your cards. Or ND3 can, either way.

Same goes to anyone else in the break that can't be here. Just PM me your number and I'll make sure you get your updates and possibly/probably pictures of your hits.

Ok, that was a little too off the cuff, but completely intended as a joke.
50% of marriages end in divorce and 99% of UD breaks end in a kick in the nuts.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Ok so ND3 pointed something out to me on the video posted above. Aparently there are 5 hits per box instead of the 4 that we had planned for. So either Blowouts information page is incorrect, or the case being broken there had an extra hit.

So here is the plan. If our case is like that one, there are 2 manu. patches per box. The first one in the box will go to the slot holder, and the second one will be set aside to be randomized at the end.

I watched the video again and I guess that the 6th card isn't always a manu patch.

So heres how I think we should do it. First 4 hits of the box go to slot holders. If the last card (or any extra card in the box) is a base parallel, it goes to the base slot. If it is another hit, it gets randomized.

Let me know what you guys think of that as a plan. Really the only fair way I can think of without having to randomize 2 boxes at the end (as there are 4 hits in each box). Miss counted the number of hits in the previous post.

Pskell sounds like a good plan. (maybe not after rewatching the vids again).

Watch our case will only have the 5 cards per box

With UD, wouldn't surprise me.

Here is their sell sheet so I don't get yelled at for not having enough slots or overcharging.

It doesn't make much of a difference to me how the hits are distributed as the slots were randomized anyways. I wouldn't care if you just doled out the hits in order and then randomized the "bonus" hits (what'd amount to the last two boxes opened) at the end which are truly a bonus as we weren't expecting them. This is obviously better than being shorted.

Either way is good with me. What I think you should do is take tomorrow off from work and be home when the case gets there. There's not much going on at work on Friday anyway. They won't miss you!

I've thought some of the baseball manufactured patches were interesting...it's like everything else, they'll run out of creative ideas long before they're finished milking it. I've been doing a bunch of breaks and none have been really great, hope this one is different...well, while saving some good luck for The Cup breaks, lol.

I actually kinda like the manu patches.

So I decided that I like the idea of having the last 2 boxes (potentially 2 full boxes) as being bonuses. So I will just go in order of slots until we run out of slot holders. Then anything after that will be randomized. All base and base parallels will go to the base slot holder. And/or if you guys wouldn't mind, I will give the first random card to the base slot holder and and the base cards will be considered an extra hit and be added to the randomized list.

Let me know, and I will go with the majority.

Just clarify for me Patrick. I am kind of slow. Are you going to go the first 4 slots to the slot holder and then the extra to be randomized? Or are your going to go hit by hit until slots are gone and the rest to be randomized? It sounds like the 2nd to me but I want to be sure.

As for the base slot getting a hit I am 50/50. On one hand that is the gamble you take getting in on breaks and on the other hand I wouldn't mind a base card so I say whatever eveyone else thinks. I still say you call in sick tomorrow.

Haha, I'll have someone here to sign for the box tomorrow lol.

I was thinking the second for your question.

With the base thing, I figured since there are going to be so many extra hits, we may as well throw the guy a bone and let him have a shot at getting something decent. Plus that will free up the base slot so that group of cards and the parallels will count as separate extra slots.

As I type I can feel myself getting confusing. I'll take everyones feedback on how we should do this and then if you decide to give the base slot holder a hit slot, it will be up to him if he wants to take it.

I have no problem with that. I'm not greedy and will be happy with my hits. Any extra is a bonus for all to be shared. If there are that many xtra hits, the base slot getting one is fine by me.

I made the suggestion of just doing the hits in order until they're out because I figured that way the "bonus" stuff to be randomized will be a true mix of all types of cards...figured that'd make it even more interesting...who knows, maybe that you tube break was the fluke and they got extra cards.

I'm not sure what you meant about the extras...I assume you meant the base slot gets any base/parallel up until the extras. Then, for the extra cards all base merge to a new extras base slot and the original base slot holder gets a guaranteed hit slot from the extras. Not sure if that's what you meant...basically, once we have "completed" the break as is we start over with a new randomized list for the extras, right?

To try and clarify what I meant again. If you guys agree with this that is. I will get rid of the base slot completely and all base cards will be given as an extra "hit" and all base parallels will be a separate "hit." The original slot holder will then take the first hit slot of the break and we would go from there in order of slots until we ran out of slots. Anything past that would get randomized along with the 2 (base/parallel) extra slots.

Again, majority will rule on giving the base slot a hit.

Vote on giving base slot first "hit" slot of the break

1 Yes
0 No

Majority rules

I would have to vote no for obvious reasons. As of right now my slot(#2) looks like an auto slot based on the you-tube break

Ha, okay I just looked at my slot and like wyomedina I think I like where I'm at too, assuming I'm figuring projections correctly. However, I only have one slot in this break so my opinion doesn't hold the same weight, but I'm fine with whatever happens and it'll be fun regardless. Who knows, maybe the base slot holder would even want to keep it since base and base parallel for this might be decent.

sorry, that was supposed to be last hit not first for the base holder.

This is honestly throwing me off and I'm just trying to figure out the best way to do it.
