I think you need to keep the slots just the way they are including the base slot getting all the base cards.

You shouldn't alter it because the breaks are coming out a certain way.

1.) With 1 or 2 base cards per pack the base slot is already a pretty good value (better than the manufactured patches) so I also vote that the base slot holder only gets the base slots and not the first additional hit.

However, they get added to the randomization for any additional hits just like the rest of us.

2.) None of the slot orders seem to matter because all it will take is one additional or one less base card to throw everyone off a slot. So I think you can only do it in slot order then any additional hits at the end of the original 41 slots gets randomized.

Patrick, this is your break...do it how you feel will be the easiest way. Personally I like going 4 hits per box and then putting the potential 5th hit aside to be randomized later, that and it might keep the break more organized.

on a side note...i do not like the manu. patches...

I agree to do it however is easier, but the break was sold as a 40 slot break not 10-4 slot breaks.

Besides how do you put a card aside in the middle of a break? How does that make it easier or make the break more organized than just going in order??? What if we are short at the end. Any extra cards should be exactly that. The extra cards after all the slots are filled, not the cards that may be extra, being pulled out from the middle of the break.

I think base slot 1 getting all the base cards then opening slots 2-41 in order of which they are pulled from the box is the way to go. Then if there is anything left at the end it gets randomized. That is the right way to do it. People who are against that must have slot 1 or 3. lol Which I have also.

I actually have 2 or 3 manu patch slots...so the hits as they come might actually benefit me...

but in all seriousness, do it how you want. VC made some good points...that might make the last box or two left really interesting to see where the extra fall! Thanks UD for throwing us off!

Patrick on the first page you did state this so your arse is covered:

"Hits will be distributed by slot order, not by box. So if there are 6 cards in the box, the extra card will fall to the next slot in line."

Who knew the sell sheet info would be jacked up. Do the break by the slots and then radomize what is left over.

yeah, I agree with ND...if it stated in the case break description then do it that way. Stay on track with what was stated and let's minimize the drama.

Also in the video there was a box or two that had multiple base cards. This will allow the non-base slot holders to get the next available hit.

Since I am the Almighty Base Slot holder in this break, Yippee (can you sense the sarcasm)...Base cards look pretty cool anyway... I say just leave it that way. Anything extra out of all the break just gets randomize at the end.

Ok, just got home from work and read through all of your posts.

I will leave it as originally planned. Slot 1 will get all the base including parallels, then we will go in order of hits. Anything extra at the end will be randomized by putting the list in random.org. The extras will be handed out based on the order they are pulled and the order of the random list.

Possibly most important, case has not arrived yet

But UPS normally gets to my house between 4 and 5, so I'm not too worried yet.
