Cases are ordered and we will crack as soon as they come in. As I said I am on vacation this week so we may be able to do an early one unless, you guys want a mid evening break around 6-7 ish. Central Time.

Hey GRWLR.....gonna toss this out there now. How are we handling two situations:

1. A gold box? IMHO if a gold box is pulled all the slot holders in that box should vote on the boxes fate before you rip it open. Open it or resell to split the profits.

2. If the base card is on the bottom of a box?

King of the Base Slot is not a title I wish to hold! That being said,

I think Base Card is what it is where ever it is.

Then the order of the hits follow 1-5 because I've seen base cards in the second slot also.

Unless there is no base card then the basecard holder gets the extra hit.

Also I think the refund should be like $79.00. lol

I also got the second worst slot, hit number 1.

Okay if the base is anywhere in the pack it will go to the #1 slot holder.
It will still go in order as pulled.
ex: box 1 open pack top card is auto/jersey this will go to slot 2 next card auto will go to slot 3 next card base will go to slot holder 1.
If there is a gold box I say that it goes to the slot holders of that box.

Does that not seem fair?

VC depends. These damn things are hand collated so you never know what is going to be where. I have seen some breaks with the first card being a knockout while others it was a dud. I am hit 5 and 6 in the same box of case 2. Some times the last two cards in the box are duds and others they have been two good hits. I am going to get duds. I can feel it. Usually I am very optimistic but my gut is giving me some bad vibes this time around.

I agree with the earlier post that if a gold box is pulled the slot holders of that box should be consulted to see what the fate of that box is, those things are selling for a crap ton of money.

When you are in the break you could decide

you have options
1. If we get a gold box I will refund all money to the slot holders and keep

2. The slot holders could give the box to me as a Thank you gift

3. The slot holders can do whatever they feel.

Option 3 - vote by holders on the fate of the box. If sold GRWLR should get a piece broken off her as well (not as big as the rest though

).

Paydirt you are welcome. I hope we do get some nice pulls out of these two cases. I really hope everyone is happy with what is pulled. Know it is impossible for everyone to be stoked about what they pull. Especially VC or resident slot vulture (although I may not be too far behind) and base card collector.

true that, we all can't get an AP 1/1 in every pack. oh wait beckett already did.

The whole thing boils down to this. We get what they give we have no control over it.
We take a gamble whether we open a pack, box or even a case.
We as collectors know we take this chance all the time.
That is why in the sign up sheet I said if we are shorted a hit we are screwed. No difference.

IMHO this is the most affordable way to crack cases. I would rather be out a couple hundred than thousands.

Each card is the box is a 1 of 1. Not sure what they are selling for. I know a while ago some guy had one listed for a crapload of money (north of 5k) on the bay. Never remembered to see where it ended.
