No, no, no...I think you guys are confused. IF there are extra hits (which I can almost guarantee there won't be), they will be randomed ONLY between the base slot holders. An extra hit is only "extra" on a "case" basis, not a "box" basis. So, in the rare event that an extra hit shows up in a box, it's likely because another box in our case is short a hit. So, at the end of the break, if there are more than 45 hits, the extras will be randomed between the three base slot holders.
How fair would it be if box 5 had an extra hit, so we sat it aside to be randomed, and opened box 6 and only two hits were in there? The person with 3rd hit in box 6 would get absolutely nothing.
Am I alone in my thinking here?

Unlike some products, the base in this break can actually be a good thing. As I mentioned earlier, I opened about 7 or 8 boxes of this stuff when it came out last year (a few boxes from the LCS and a few from online sites including Blowout). I hit two 1/1's (one of Chris Paul and I can't remember the other one) and lots of low-numbered rookies and legends which sold well.

hey i was wondering if you know what the box break down is, like what type of card you should expect to get in each spot (ex. patch, auto, rookies, etc..)

From what I've seen 1st slot looks like jerseys, 2nd = patch/jersey + autos, 3rd looks like rcs jerseys/autos(go watch youtube case breaks of last years stuff :P)

I don't know how the product is packaged but if he just opens a box and dumps all the packs out and starts opening them then we can't really go by that kind of order?

Is it just a couple of packs in a row? If so is he just going to open them in order or just randomly pick a pack and open it?

I think you might be confused on the format of the product.

There's 15 "boxes" in a case, but there are no "packs" involved. Each box just contains the 3 hits and a couple of base cards. It's not a traditional type of box like Prestige or something that involves multiple packs in each box.

I'm not sure how the case will be packaged, but I'd assume it will be in two rows. So the top box on the left side will be box one, the second box on the left side will be box two, and so on. Will finish the left row first, and then move to the right side.

I guess this is all academic until we see how the case is packaged. We'll discuss it in the chat room right before the break and see how you guys want to do it. It's all stupid luck anyways, so it shouldn't matter.

There are 15 boxes with 1 pack in them. He will open each box and go through each pack one by one which has 3 hits/4base in each.
