And with that, case 1 draft is complete.... now just case 3 ... which has yet to start. Gonna autodraft for canuhandle23 if he doesn't respond to my latest PM on Monday @ 12 PM PST. It'll be the Broncos, so i doubt he'll be too pissed.

Best has several. I don't believe Burnett has any -- someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I am willing to wait for canuhandle23 to log on and pick. But you have to make a decision on what to do if He does not pick by a certain date. The release is 10/10/10.

And I think with the time it takes to do a draft. You have to look into at least a week prior to complete it before the cases arrive. It is up to the Host to make this decision. Or put it to a vote by the Members of Case #3. If you decide to make a pick for Him. I would suggest a random of the 32 teams 3 times. And what ever is 1st. Would be His auto pick. Since no list was given to you. You would have to do this for His 3rd pick also.

But I would go the route of contacting the Mods first before anything else. Or maybe someone has His number or address (Home/email).

He should get the Broncos with the number 1, then random the Lions and Browns as they where the other number 3 teams, assuming Rams go number 2

A random for his pick just does not seem fair in my estimation, so I'm just going on what I believe to be the consensus first pick to be, and that's the Broncos.

I've already sent him a final notice for the first pick by Monday (9/20) at 12 PM PST. If he does not log in and draft by then, the Broncos will be his.

I'll then give him until Friday (9/24) at 12 PM PST to make the 3rd pick since it's less obvious than the 1st overall pick. That way, we still have plenty of time to finish the draft and conduct trades before breaking (over 2 weeks). This seems the fairest way to proceed at this point.

i agree with this not to random his picks...in the past with other breaks pskell has made picks for people who are not answering or around to his best knowledge...and i think the op is doing the right thing basing off of previous drafts.

Why don't you just swap my pick at 29 for canuhandle23's at 3 and then he will have a long time to get back on-line.

Better yet, I'll paypal the money to him for his 2 spots.

I hope he does get back on soon because there doesn't seem like a fair way to auto pick the next one.

Which is why I'm giving him til Friday (9/24 @ 12 PM PST) for his 3rd pick. Then I'll have to draft for him based on quality and quantity of possible hits.

Assuming St. Louis goes 2, I'm thinking it's gonna be Lions at 3 based on what Best's doing (and Suh as well).

Yeah, since the deadline for canuhandle's 3rd pick is Friday, he wants to wait until then. Should be fine -- i'm pretty sure I'm going to have to auto-draft either the Rams or Lions for him anyway at #3.

Wonder what has happened to Him. Didn't He pay with a money order? I wonder if He has been grounded. And can't use the computer for a month. That would explain alot. Think this might be the last draft I do for awhile. Even though the release is a ways off. It seems that We are allways running into this type of problem. I think guide lines should be set for future ones where you have 24 hours to make your pick once the draft list is posted. Then your team will be random for you if you don't pick. It Moves things along a little quicker.

Agreed with Fins. I mean, I realize sometimes #@#@#@#@ happens, but for the most part if you pay to get into a draft, wouldnt you want to check back and actually see what slots you got?? Not just singling one person out - this has happened on at least half the draft breaks I have been in

Actually, he paid through Paypal, not sure why he's AWOL.

And that's exactly why i established the payment deadline of a month before release -- because of draft issues. I still love the idea of drafts -- i realize they're going to take longer, but i like having more control of who I get (unless I'm pick 32).

By 12 PM PST today I will autodraft for canuhandle23 at spot #3. LightOut will also make his pick before then. I'll send him a courtesy PM though, just in case, but he contacted me earlier in the week to let me know of his intention to pick at the deadline for canuhandle.
