Shouldn't a base be base no matter what it is numbered? Then you run into the problem of shorting the base holder 1 card and then you would have an extra hit that needs to radomized at the end. That is provided a box is not shorted a card....from past chatter some boxes can be short hits as well.

The black 1/1's can fetch a good premium on the bay regardless of the player thats why they are a hit. They are also very hard to pull. The base slots were always #/249 & /25 in previous group breaks. There will always be a base card #/249 in each tin. Also if we are shorted slots there will be refunds given.

I emailed Chris to see how much overnight shipping would be. I don't know if you guys would be interested in O/N shipping. O/N for the 3 cases would be $145. We have a total of 22 Slot holders. So it would be $7 extra per slot holder to O/N the 3 cases. Obviously we don't have to O/N the cases. But I figured to throw it out there.

1/1 base is not guaranteed. There may be none in any of the cases. I don't recall any 1/1 base cards hit in any of the group breaks and I was involved in most of them.

I realized that, but what I was saying was, to make it fair to everyone, IF we pull a 1/1 base, we could give it to the base slot holder, as it will probably pay for the slot, and distribute the rest to everyone randomly.

Can't do that. Any 6 random base cards in the 1 base slot would almost cover the slot cost and could easily be better than a hit. If you pull a no name rookie auto(w/no patch) that books at $20(which I have done) it would be worse than a 6 card base slot. What would that slot holder think if we happened to pull a 1/1 black base card and give it to the base slot holder. What if their happened to be 1 base #/249, 1 base #/25 & 1 black base # 1/1 in one tin? That would not be good for the slot holders. The base slot holder is guaranteed 6 base cards #/249 regardless + any gold base #/25.

So each pack contains 4 cards.

1 - Base card
3 - Other hit cards

If UD packs a 1/1 black base card do they use it as a replacement for a regular base card or is it just one of the other three cards in the pack?

Example
Card 1: Base #'d to 249
Card 2: Stick Card
Card 3: 1/1 Black Base
Card 4: Auto Patch

Yes at a minimum!

Everytime a gold base card #/25 was pulled their was a base #/249 I am pretty sure that it would be the same if a black base #1/1 would be pulled.

Guaranteed cards are Base #/249 and Auto Patch RC #/249(most commmon) maybe a Auto RC #/99(Rarer)(in one of the cases if we are lucky)

I have a tingle that tells me we will hit something big!!!

Just a thought, not involved in the group break but thinking about doing a case myself. Why pay for overnight shipping on this? If there is a product that doesn't lose value quickly its this one.

Also, if the Carey Price #/99 patch auto comes out, please PM me before whatever lucky dude gets it sends it to the bay.

I agree that we don't need to overnight it. Granted, all of us will be very excited about it, but I don't see a need to drop extra money to get it what, a day or 2 sooner.

Well, if it actually gets released on a Wednesday, assuming Blowout orders get to you as quick as they do to me, the cases would show up before the weekend so I would say don't bother overnighting.

If it is released on Wed. chances are that HJ will get it on Wed. Distributors generally get everything a few days before release and from what they told me about the OPC case break, they will have it to me the day it hits the street.

But I am in 2 day shipping range, so it might take a day longer for HJ.
