I don't know whether others are interested, but if I have 3 slots, I'd actually like to get that 36 card set of the base #'d 599 and less. If anyone pre-draft wants to agree to trade for a "hit", I'd trade one of my 3 spots for that group of cards...assuming that a pre-draft trade is allowed.

Agreed! I've seen others having some problems getting payments from ewalk22, too. I'm not sure if he's just out of town or MIA, but I've sent messages to him since last Thursday with no reply and no read receipt thorugh the forum. With the break happening tomorrow night and with no reply for almost one week, I'm offering those spots to others who are interested.

So it is now official...Matt/Epidemic is picking up an extra slot and Sean/Endthecurse the other. Thanks for filling in last minute guys - hopefully there'll be some good karma involved! I'll update the list shortly.

Since Dan won't be randomizing until just before he breaks the boxes and there won't be time to trade real-time, if anyone wants to pre-box breaking agree to trade their #599 and less base cards (if they get it) to me for one of the 18 "Hit" spots before he cracks, I will agree to it right now on this thread.

I don't want the base with the 1350 - I agree that is not a good draw. But if you get the 599 or less slot - I'll swap - just call which slot you want. Whoever draws it just has to call out the spot on the board before the packs start getting opened.

I'll announce it on UStream as well - if by chance the person that gets Slot #2 (all base parallels, not including base/1350) is on UStream watching the live break, I'll check to see if they want to swap for one of your slots (and they'd have to announce it before the packs start flying of course!). There'll be a few minutes while I unpack the boxes and break everything open, too. I'll also take a quick second to flip over to the boards to see if Slot #2 takes you up on your offer.

Otherwise...you do have a 15% chance already of hitting that slot!

I wanted to random yesterday and likely would have had a few people who would have been able to watch on UStream, but being that this was my first case break, I didn't really want to change anything mid-stream. I think 99.99% of everyone who participates in breaks would be cool with it, but I just wanted to avoid the 0.01% of situations where someone would cause a stink about it and it might limit my ability to run breaks here on Blowout.

I'm running a 2010 Topps Jumbo Baseball 3-Case Break where I'm going to allow all week for trading of teams because it makes more sense for the break itself. With the Triple Threads...Slot #3-Slot #20 are basically all "equal" pre-break...Slot #1 is still pretty good and Slot #2 is really more of a wild-card.

Thanks for the feedback though - next time around (just like on the Topps Jumbo Case Break I'm running), I'll run the random and/or team assignment much earlier to allow for trading.

Or if this goes well...maybe run another 9-box break!

Yeah, this is really the only slot that is worth trading for a hit and vice versa. trading slots 3-20 is just kinda pointless and I don't think many people will trade slot 1 for a hit slot...

It sounds like Matt might have a taker or two...I'll ask the question again before we get to breaking the case tonight which would at least allow for a few minutes to potentially break a trade.

My cards from the first group break at Atlanta Sportscards arrived in the mail yesterday - they are very nice. The base cards are thick as hell! Even the "disappointing" hits are still really impressive looking.
