Alrighty! A link to the video on UStream, a list of cards pulled, and a scan of all the hits have been posted on the first page. Thanks again everyone! I'll start getting the cards ready for shipment tonight!

A second case is right behind me! It sounds like we might have some takers. I'll ask a mod to start up another break and I'll see what kind of response we get.

looks like the rickey henderson is damaged? (G in steal king looks off)

It was bent around a little for the scan...from what I've heard, this sounds like a fairly common problem with some of the Triple Threads cards that have skinny letters on them. The letter is still fully intact and I have it looking "normal" in the case I'm shipping it out in. This appears to be a flaw with the card design more than anything. Might be worth a call to Topps?

All cards have been packaged and will be shipped out tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Dan - great job - the commentary was enjoyable, you didn't say Mojo 2 dozen times, I loved the ability to keep a running ustream commentary and the fact that you responded to the commentary. It was really fun except for the point when I look at my "hits".

yeah I've noticed some others now that I've done some searching. That may end up being the most valuable hit from what I've seen doing a quick eBay completed listings check up.

Also, I think we should either combine all the base into 1slot or make the slots just by the pack so someone doesn't get screwed with just base (especially if it isnt the parallel base)

With 20 slots, that'd only adjust the "buy-in" about $3.00, so I think that would be fairly reasonable. I could do a pack break on the next one, but not sure if that really adds a lot of "flair" to the break. I was in a team break with the Triple Threads, but we broke TWO 18-Box Cases and that was a HUGE gamble. Hmmm...

The "UD The Cup Hockey" base are a little more valuable, but I'm in a 09/10 UD The Cup Hockey Break...bought two slots and one of them is the base. Grrr! Not only that, but there are TWO base slots...so you don't get just the base, but only base from 3 of the 6 soxes...each slot getting 3-4 BASE cards...everyone else has the chance for the monsters...patch autos, game used, etc.

I'm likely going to keep it the same again for next time just knowing that there's some risk involved with the slots. I never want to be the bearer of "less than fortunate" news when someone hits the base, but the base and base parallel still aren't too bad on their own (i.e. the base singles would likely have better resale than a Carlos Gomez Jersey Auto or Semitar Jersey/36).

The new break has been posted and approved! Hopefully we'll see many of you back over for Round Two! Here's the LINK

Funny thing - I bought my first box of Topps Triple Threads outside of a group break and busted it last night. Got a Prince Fielder jersey card #/36 and a Barry Larkin jersey/auto #9/9 (looks like it will fetch a nice price on Ebay). The "Funny" part is that I also got a 1/1 printing plate base of Mark Fidrych - the exact type of parallel pull I tried to trade for.

Larkin does well on eBay - good luck to 'ya on that one!

I still have this other 9-box case "just gathering dust" over here! LOL The temptation to break it open is intense!
