2005 Leaf Certified Material 1/1

I pulled two 2005 Leaf Certified Material Mirror Black 1/1 cards in the same day out of two different boxes. Pulled the Smith first, had a hunch, so I busted the second box and got the Warner.

Sold the Warner a while ago, made out well. Traded away the Smith for a couple of nice autos (including a Favre /4)!

I'm not an Alex Smith fan but that would have been a tough card to part with. Congrats!

i have that same "hunch" every time i bust wax.......... it's always the next box that will have the monster hit. but then 4 cases later, no hit. and i always still have the hunch that if i buy one more case, i'll get the hit.

Can you imagine what the Alex Smith would have gone for a couple of years ago when he still had potential. Huge cabbage.

If Kurt Warner makes it back to the Super Bowl there may be some renewed interest in his cards. I sold four Warners last night on COMC.

WOW! You traded the Alex Smith away for a Favre auto numbered to 4! I sold a 2005 Bowman chrome Smith auto printing plate last year and got only $50 for it.

I actually traded away the Smith for a Favre auto /4, another 1/1 auto from a set I am collecting, and an Alex Smith auto jersey from 2005 leaf limited (rc) year. I got pretty lucky on unloading that card when I did!
