Amazon.com: Call of Duty: Ghosts - Xbox 360: Video Games

For my little Brother. Parents separated when I was young. So im only looking out for the one parent I do care for. As of lately my mom hasn't had the time to go out and go shopping for my little brother do to her going through Chemo. This is one of the things on his list. It would help the mom out during this time. I dont think money right now is tight for her but if it keeps her from going to nasty ass walmart to get it while her immune system is crap, with it being flu and cold season I'll give it a try.

Thanks Corbo!

For some reason my mom has always loved those plates with some kind of thing on it. Could be famous people, animals or a random location.

Something like this would be nice

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DCZ...r=8-29&pi=SL75

My dad on the other hand has always been hard to shop for. He likes a few things but he isnt into collecting anything materialistic or anything of that sort. I really dont know how to explain that

No food related allergies by the way

I'm going to send a prize to the winners.

Everyone after the cutoff point, has to link to something that they would buy their parents on Amazon.com for Christmas. Tomorrow evening, my wife will pick what she thinks is the most caring and interesting choice.

Everyone who posted before the cutoff point will be randomed, and I will name that winner shortly.

EDIT: Also, please add if you or your immediately family have any food allergies.

Not interested in a prize Corby.

Just thought I would chime in on food allergies lol

My youngest son is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and olives

Makes for an interesting time during the holidays with checking packages, making sure everyone who prepaires nutted products wash their hands etc...

My wife brings mouthwash to family events, and makes everyone who wants to play with him give their mouths the ol swisheroo.

He is in preschool and they make us bring our own snacks, which is ok with us. It is AMAZING how many people don't know how serious food alleriges are. Some of the parents at his school actually got pissed off because he can't eat their nut riddled snacks. His teacher totally freaked out the first day of school when we handed her his eppy pen and showed her how/when to use it lol. Luckily, he hasn't had to use it once yet, but I am sure that time is coming.

Anyways, thats all lol Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Mitch

I woke up from my :turkey: coma and football was still an actual sport, and people even talked about it as if it made any sense, or was important. Oh well.... I pinched myself, so I know I'm up.

Did I win?

Okay, this one would be for my father-in-law;
Amazon.com - Dept 56 "Leed's Oyster House" Dickens Village #58446 - Holiday Collectible Buildings

He's had a rough last 2 years (back surgery) and now has more surgery ahead this coming year. Compile that with their dog having to be put down (thank you vet malpractice) and not a great year. His Dept. 56 village takes up the entire room when he puts it together but health issues haven't allowed him to do it the past couple years. He still loves adding new pieces though.

My mother, whose birthday is the day after Christmas, struggled to raise me up as a single parent and an immigrant who spoke little English. My dad died when I was little and my mom brought me, my older sister, and younger brother over to America. She has done so much for me and my siblings, I can't even explain how grateful I am for her. She was the one pushing me when I was younger, I didn't understand why she made me stay at home while other kids were playing outside and I hurt her so many times but now I understand why. She worked from 10 to 10 every single day 7 days a week to get my sister to Vanderbilt and although she pushed us when we were young, I understand why, she don't want us working as hard she once did. When I first moved to the US, we lived in a 2 bedroom basement and I remember wearing 3 layers of clothing in winter time because we didn't have heat. Now our situation is better, we have made some money on our investments overseas and moved into a nicer house but my mother still likes to save and she never spends a dime on herself so I want to get her something nice. (My sister and I got her an iPad 2 today, Target had a great deal, she'll love it). I want to get her an electrical heater, that might not be glamourous or anything but it is useful. Last year, we purchased our own home but she still won't turn up the heater, I am freezing right now lol. I see her coughing a lot last week and I think it is because of the cold, I secretly turn up the heater during the night but I think she'll find this useful. I have already purchased one, I think she'll like her than an iPad.
Amazon.com - Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat

Before you think she's cheap, yes she is, if you went through what she did, I think you'd find a new way of thinking about life. Thank you and happy holidays.

EDIT: My younger brother is allergic to peanuts and shellfish.
