Ok, I wish to start dumping some stuff on ebay. My paypal account is only linked to a debit card. I did the upgrade to a Premier account to accept more than $500 a month. However, how important is it that I'm a "verified" account as well? I would prefer not to link the paypal account to a bank account if I don't have to (although I realize linking a debit card is practically the same as it goes to a checking account).

Verified is important I believe, I think I am...I also have my paypal account linked up to my bank account which then transfers over to my debit card...usually takes 3-4 days for $ to hit

Yes, confirmed is the way to be. If you look on Ebay, some sellers have disclaimers that they wont sell to you unless you are confirmed.

Lol
![]() Well, I went and put two things up. I must just be retarded, but it took me forever...like how to handle shipping, insurance, etc. Like it took me a while to figure out how to display the option to ship internationally. Are there any more user friendly, quicker options for posting en masse? |

Yea, go with Turbo Lister. It makes life a whole lot easier when you have to list a bunch of stuff.
Put your ebay name in your profile bar so we can all get to your auctions.

What you do is create a template in TL. Then export it to a CSV file. Then copy as many lines as items you are going to load. Do as much of the work as you can outside TL since it is painfully slow. When you are done, upload it.

Well, now a new "problem" I noticed. Paypal protection is only at $200 for the buyer because I only have a handful of feedback for purchases I made. I have a number of cards that will easily go for more than $200.
What does everyone think? Would that scare you off from bidding? Does it seem shady that I'm trying to sell such high dollar items right off the bat with my first auctions? |

low feedback for high dollar items does make buyers think twice. just make sure you offer a great return policy and highlight it in your description.
