Selling like this almost never works out...he'll just get dinged when stuff shows up damaged. It's just not worth the hassle IMO.

Yeah, he's obviously going for multiple card orders. I tried it a while back, 90% of the people who ordered still only ordered 1 card. Although I just reopened my eBay store a couple days ago, I quickly abandoned the idea and closed my store when I lost $200 in 3 weeks. I'm always game to try new things though, that one didn't work out and I certainly wouldn't recommend it

It might be his way of getting more feedback...maybe?

There is no way he can make money unless he gets multiple auction wins from 1 buyer... This way of selling is a waste if time and money

That is what I was thinking but if he just wants them gone there are many other ways for him to unload them, even just throw them in the trash. It must be about him getting more feedback and maybe even drawing attention to him as a seller.

Why would he use his time to take pics, set up the auction and list, and then package and ship for a couple dollars at best? The only people that are making money is eBay/Paypal and the USPS

Waste of time/money imo. Screamer you said it exactly right the only one making any money is ebay in auction styles like this. This new phase is going to be the death of singles/low end cards on ebay. I had success this past week in selling singles by doing 2.50 for each card, but shipping becomes free after 5 cards won. This way you don't have free shipping on like 15 different cards all to different buyers and just losing money. Worked very well.
