Ebay situation. UNFAIR :(

Guy buys a Harper Chrome and Jared Mitchell auto from me.
I charge $4 for s/h.
It is clearly stated in my auction.
I eat almost $2 in shipping because I send Priority Mail with DC.

He contacts me after auction stating that if I cut my s/h in half, it will be worth it.
I decline and tell him $4 it is.
He comes back and continue to push for the rebate.
I tell him enough already and it almost has a vibe of blackmail

He gets product in a couple of days
he leaves a positive comments about product being nice

he leaves neutral!!!!!!!!!!
he obviously lowers my communication score and shipping score /5.0

don't think ebay doing anything about it

there goes the perfect feedback as buyer and seller after 1000 transactions

i would have lowered the shipping to 1 dollar and sent in penny sleeve and a PWE. Guys that complain about shipping are retards. I charge 3 dollars for shipping and i ship with bubble mailer, DC, and the cards are in semi rigids wrapped with cardboard, and yet people still complain.

and ebay sucks now.

Its dartjay, I just looked it up. He's a seller also. Buy something from him and return the favor. He's left two negatives and a neutral in the last two months. Not a good appearance for a seller.

i know the feeling.. alot of buyers on ebay now are quick to leave a neg or neutral. instead of trying to resolve any issue they leave the harmful feedback. i have noticed alot of these buyers are new users on ebay too... One of many reasons why ebay is slowly dying.. IMO

would rather block him and hope others do so as well so they don't deal with this turkey

Sounds like feedback extortion, IMO. If you have the e-mails would that be grounds to have it removed?

I blocked him, looks like he dinged your shipping and communication.

It is SO foolish for seller's to do this. The OP seems like a decent person, but if he wanted revenge it would be easy to do.

You still have 100% feedback and his comment is fine. I would not reply to it because that would merely draw more attention and the comment is positive.

Shake it off, it is only a neutral and no one is even going to look because your rating says 100%. Learn from it and move on. I know you are mad and frustrated now, but it will fade. Keep your karma positive - his dirty deed will come back to him.

The extortion has to be blatant. Like, "refund my shipping or I am going to leave you a negative feedback." Trust me, I have had many conversations with eBay Platinum powerseller support about it.

What a jerk. But I don't think a neutral hurts your score. How are you so sure that he has hurt your selling score? Not sure why the guy would leave a neutral after receiving the card so fast, if anything he could have complained and said that you wouldnt lower your shipping price.

my 5.0 DSR went down in 2 categories after this auction
i also don't like seeing gray/grey neutral when i did NOTHING wrong

he kept coming back saying how we both benefit if I only mail regular mail finally I got fed up and said "are you paying or not"

Guys like this don't GET it! They think that their card "magically" appears in their mailbox. It really sickens me.
