So one of my Pineda lots that ended last night (the chrome one), was won by a bidder with 0 feedback.
He just joined ebay last week. I looked at his bidding history and since he joined he has placed bids on 334 items! We'll see what happens...has anyone ever encountered a situation like this before?

I would relist this lot ASAP. If he pays then you can always kill the auction. |

That's not true. Idk if it's just my luck or not but I have yet to run into a problem with a 0 feedback buyer. For me most of my troubles come from buyer with feedback in the 25-40 range. Almost like they think they built up enough to start not paying for items.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and any new member to eBay will have zero feedback of course. I know it's been awhile since I've been on eBay and I'm sure the stats show a ton of zero feedback people that are linked to shill bidding and other things but hopefully this works out to be a legit buyer. Regardless of the price re-listing is a hassle in itself.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I send him a message explaining that I had run into issues with 0 feedback ebayers in the past and asked him to confirm his intent to pay.

Update- I received a message back saying that he's still getting his paypal account set up, and will pay on Friday. WTF? What are my options at this point?

But I agree with your logic.

yeah, that is encouraging. I'm just frustrated that he didn't set up his paypal account BEFORE bidding on 300 items.

Sounds a bit fishy to bid on 300+ items and not have a paypal account already, but he did respond to you so stay firm on a Friday evening deadline and if he doesn't pay then file the NPB and re-list after the 4 days and your good. Just my take on it.
