So someone was selling a card on Ebay buy it now with no offer option, but I sent him a message with an offer anyways. He told me that if I send the money direct payment to him then the card is mine.
His rating on ebay is good, 114 positive, 4 neutral 0 negative in the last 12 months. Question is, doing direct payment is there a chance I get screwed on this, I've never done it that way before. |

Paypal offers protection the same way that Ebay does. It's a crapshoot to do it either way if someone really wants to scam you. My issue here is... what did he get 4 neutrals for? Same or different buyers?

Just pay goods and you will be just fine. He's cutting you a "deal" since now he doesn't have to pay the FVF.
