I have someone who did 2 BINs from me and both just happened to have shipping charges on them and I make the buyers pay right away on BINs so I could not adjust the shipping for him to make it free or less than what was paid.
I had the same situation happen a few weeks back and I just refunded through paypal for the difference. I started thinking that since ebay now charges FVFs on shipping, just refunding through paypal only adjusts their fees but not the fees on ebay. Anyone figure out how to refund a small amount to get the ebay fee's adjusted or should I just toss $2 in with the shipment?

You can issue a partial refund through Paypal if I'm not mistaken. But if you are selling at BIN, don't charge shipping. Just figure it into the price, a lot less to worry about for you.
Edit: just saw that you probably didn't mean for shipping to be on it haha. |
