So, I buy two cards I need to finish a set from this guy:

3xplaysports


Why did I buy from him? I read at the top of his auction under price: shipping $2.75 (discount available)


Well, when I get my invoice from him it says shipping $5.50. So, I request another invoice stating that the shipping had not been discounted.

Needless to say, I get another invoice with shipping still $5.50.......

Long story short his auctions are very deceiving. If you read his tiny ass print it says he only discounts shipping if you pay by check or money order. WTF!!

So now, all of a sudden he expects me to pay $5.50 to ship two cards?

I would have never even considered buying those cards.

Talk about pissed.


Whatever you do, don't make the same mistake and buy from this guy. Thank goodness he didn't have like 10 items I needed, could you imagine paying $30 to ship 10 cards?

I've seen a few sellers doing that with shipping and unless I was desperate I wouldn't buy from them. If you pay by paypal they use excess shipping charges to cover the fees. IMO fleabay should yank their listings because its pretty obvious their gouging on the shipping. While he can say he had warned buyers in his listing, its still a J.O. move.
