Not that I want to be a part of this thread in any way, shape, or form, but they're right about the PWE being a bad move. As someone who has shipped a lot of packages, once you add more weight to a PWE (decoys, thicker cards, even just too much tape sometimes) you are risking that card going from a .45 PWE shipment to a $1.85 minimum shipment. USPS is pretty strict sometimes about weight limits and to try to get around that is playing with fire.

And I would never, ever, EVER ship a nice jersey card, especially one with any thickness, in a PWE. Again, just asking for trouble doing that. I would not neg the seller and I really hope you don't.

It always amazes me when the richest people are the cheapest. This kid gets a messed up card over $2 and I ship people cards for free for $2 out of my pocket. I truly wish sometimes to have the ability to smack some sense into these entitled punks who have no idea what life is even about.

Since it is a jersey card and just that, you have to chalk it up as a "loss" if thats what you think it is and just move on. No big deal.

Depends on the P.O. I recently sent out 6 PWE's on the same day in my mailbox here, and to secure them I did the fold the PWE in half method so that envelope was just the size of the card. 5 made it to their destination fine. One was marked postage due and bumped from .45 to 1.85 because they said the weight was too heavy. All cards were just base and all were in the same small top loader, no decoys, so they all should've weighed exactly the same. But one P.O. was more picky than another and so my one package cost more to ship.

I've also brought a PWE with 2 thin base in a top loader before and my shipping lady told me it was too heavy for just 45 cents. And this was JUST two cards in the same loader with the tape pinched close and the loader taped to the inside of the PWE so it wouldn't bounce around. Not even a team bag and I ended up having to pay 20 extra cents.
