How is nobody talking about the new COMC black friday promotion today? They just opened up the site to allow you to set up your promotion. I have questions, insights, and ideas. Where is everybody at on this?

I have set up my sale prices also. I'm not sure if I'll have time to buy but if I do, I'll definetely pick my fair share!

Setting the sale up tonight, have to look over it more. Also have ample $ allocated to purchases this weekend as well...so looking for some great deals on there!

BTW, as of noon EST the site isn't updating/refreshing properly...hopefully Jeremy and staff are aware of it, as that wouldn't be good for this weekend.

I set up all 3 sale periods at 35% off "shipped" prices, which equates to about 31% off individual card prices, on average.

set up just about each and every card at a min of 20% off up to 65+% off my asking prices. all different sales each period for the cards. Somewhere around 600 cards for sale. plenty will go for less than what I have into them. Once you factor the "free" shipping into it, I'm just giving away stuff.

Does anyone know if buyers have to be in simplified mode to get the sales prices? I know they have to be on COMC but do they have to be in simplified mode?

As far as free shipping goes, Yes. The "free shipping" does not apply if you are using checkoutmycards.com or on COMC.com in advanced seller mode. So essentially buyers are still paying 15 cents per card shipping after the 10 cents back. Still a decent deal though with the flat $3 fee waived.

As far as just acquiring cards at the sale prices, I would imagine you could be in either mode.

Looks like a number of sellers have put their prices up just before Black Friday, with sale prices taking them down to either what it was last weekend or a much smaller % than advertised off that figure.

Be careful out there..

I've left my prices alone and put up a 40% discount for the promo...with that said, cards aren't exactly flying out the door yet (sold some LUCK RCs and misc. FB inserts).

Is there something wrong with my browser? I discount cards for the BF sale, but the discounts aren't visible until you see the item specifics - IE the Delmon Young Exquisite Auto I have FS:

2007 Exquisite Collection Rookie Signatures Draft Choice Autographs Silver Spectrum #DY - Delmon Young/15 - COMC

It frustrates me because this isn't the case with all sellers' card's. There's a better chance cards are getting passed over rather than looked at closer as the sale isn't being advertised clearly.

Yeah some of the cards don't seem to be refreshing instantly, or some prices aren't updated. If you click the actual card on, it is updated, but not universally. I emailed about it a few hrs ago, Jeremy said the site was trying to catch up or something to that effect. Maybe someone can check in again and let them know it is still doing it.

Yeah I don't think any of my cards are showing the sale price until you click on the card. As a buyer, I find this pretty annoying because you have to do some much clicking to find good deals. Fortunately, other buyers seem to be managing as my sales are going quite well.

having several issues with the site currently.

1 - cannot access "offer history" to cancel an offer
2 - just added store credit by CC, but not showing up on account

yeah looks like i cant accept any offers, so many offers just sitting in my account now but i cant access them. Hopefully things will pick up soon

I set my sale prices up last night but it just says the normal price. Kinda sucks black friday is about over

It's growing pains of a new company taking on something big like Black Friday. Blowout had issues as well when they first tried Black Friday specials on here.

I know it sucks, but next year will be much better.

I think it would have been better if they would have just done the individual sales and maybe a shipping special but all this convoluted 10 cents free for this and 25 cents free for this you can do it on this site but not on this one stuff is just confusing as hell.

I have the same issue. Money pulled from Paypal...nothing in my account. It's going to be really tough to buy/sell cards when buyers aren't able to actually PAY for them .

I put individual discounts for each card, and thought I had some great deals available. Alas, I only sold 3 cards today. Disappointed to say the least.

I think its been fantastic. So far sold probably around 120-130 cards with 3 days left.Seems like every 3-4 minutes another card sells.

Is anyone having problems trying to access a particular player/card in their inventory? When I sell a card (say a Bryce Harper Platinum Gold) and try to replace it with another, it does nothing and eventually times out with the error page.

I forwarded this on to Tim. He saw your error and thinks it was just during a busy time. He said it should only take a few seconds now. Please give us a call if the site is giving you any more issues.

Hey guys, I have a question. If I buy a card it says standard shippingis $3. If I buy three cards is shipping still $3? What if I buy the cards from three different sellers? Thanks in advance.
