Sports Card Shows Eastlake & Twinsburg, Ohio

We are looking for some helpful ideas to gain more people through the door and also more dealers at our Card Shows. Right now we get about 75+ people through the door and our table prices are $20 per 8 foot table. We run an ad in The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Beckett free calendar, also the paid Beckett large ads, and Craigslist.

If you are in the area (or outside) what would attract you to our shows? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We are thinking of doing some things like:

1. Door Prizes
2. Silent Auctions
3. Raffle prizes
4. Group breaks

We also do a Tuesday night show every other week that we can incorporate any ideas. Thanks for your help.

I've been to your shows quite a few times and enjoy them. However I think having shows every week while nice could be problematic to the dealers who aren't making back their money or see interest as dying down.

The one thing I've always wished your shows had more of was wax product to open. Boxes and packs are always great at card shows and the times I've come there have been maybe 5 options to pick from....usually from one dealer.

Thanks for attending the shows! They are monthly not weekly. The wax is a difficult thing. Panini/Upper Deck/Topps have very strict rules on who can sell wax anymore, I never do wax so I don't know the specific rules. I've also lowered all tables prices to only $20 per table, so hopefully that entices more dealers. Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated.
