Ebay question-shipping to canada
SO I set up my listing as shipping worldwide and as first class international...lists shipping as $2.49 in US...
buyer buys a card, turns out hes from canada, no biggie, except, ebay calculated shipping 3 oz via first class international as $1.31...when I go to print postage, its $3.30.... sheesh, is there a way to list and allow international shipping, but for me to add the shipping on the invoice BEFORE they pay |
this made my head hurt lol... I just charge a flat rate of $4 to canada as most rates are in that range. GL to you

First Class International is $3.30 according to USPS.com. I would say there was something else wrong in your listing or it would have calculated it correctly. I would just call Ebay and see if they can explain what happened.

yeah, I had it set for it to calculate it...wondered if it was doing first class international letter and then when I was sending, it was doing package...well...at least I'm only out $2 bucks or so...stinks though, card was only a $8.00 card

maybe...i'll have to play with the listings a little...maybe I can make it blank and have it make me send an invoice first or something... |
USPS dimensions for a letter say :Max. length 11-1/2", height 6-1/8" or thickness 1/4"
Would cost $1.49. Wouldn't a standard bubble mailer be under 1/4"? A lot of the shipping threads on here are about how to exceed 1/4" for Delivery confirmation. Since Canada doesn't have Delivery couldn't everyone mail at the Letter price not the Package price? |
