Default USPS Priority Boxes

I know the post office now has the flat rate boxes, but do they still have just regular priority boxes to order or pick up?

My item is in between the small and medium flat rate boxes and would be cheaper just shipping it priority. Is the shoe box one of the ones still left? I thought there might be a few more.

My local post offices have the 1095 which is 16 x 12 x 3. It is a bit longer and shallow than the Medium Flat.

Most Walmarts have a 12 x 8 x 5 box for $.54.

All of the post offices vary greatly in my experience. So I started ordering them online. The priority boxes are free and deliver to your house. In my experience they show up about 4-5 days after ordering.

If tou ship a lot this is the way to go! Just dont do what I did and order a bunch of "regional rate" boxes by mistake.

Do some quick research on "Regional" Priority Flat Rate Boxes ... they're in-between sizes and in most cases, cheaper than the regular Flat Rate boxes...
